21.01.2022 Police are appealing for public assistance following an incident of dangerous driving spanning from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane this morning. At 7am, a man was driving his vehicle southbound on the Bruce Highway at the Glasshouse Mountains when a 2006 model, gold coloured Nissan X-Trail reportedly cut in front of him, forcing him to take evasive action into another lane. It was then reported the driver of the X-Trail began throwing items from his vehicle at the man’s car b...efore swerving at him and attempting to run him off the road. The dangerous driving continued to be observed by the man for approximately 30mins until they reached the Gateway Bridge where the vehicles became separated. Multiple reports were made to police in relation to the manner of driving of the X-Trail as it continued south on the M1 towards South Brisbane. Officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage of the movements of the Gold X-Trail (similar to the one pictured) between the Glasshouse Mountains and South Brisbane to make contact. Additionally, any further witnesses to the dangerous driving are urged to contact police as a matter of priority. QP2100889183

21.01.2022 Speeding P-Plater, Sunshine Coast A P-Plater has had a costly start to his morning after he was caught allegedly travelling more than 50 kilometres an hour over... the speed limit by a police officer on his way to a Sunshine Coast Road Safety Week event. It will be alleged that the officer pulled over on Sippy Downs onramp at 7am to observe traffic travelling along the Sunshine Motorway and detected a blue sedan being driven at 168 kilometres per hour in a 100 zone. The officer from the Nambour Road Policing Unit immediately followed the vehicle and recorded a further speed detection of 150 kilometres per hour. The driver, an 18-year-old man from New South Wales, was issued a $1245 fine for high range speeding and had his licence suspended for 6 months. To add to his woes, he was fined a further $215 for failing to correctly display his P-Plates, which were partially obscured by the front and rear number plates. The matter occurred just prior to the officer attending a special event at a local primary school to educate children about the importance of road safety during Road Safety Week.

My beautiful little girl is being exploited by 'Queensland health executives' and forced to suffer by 'GW pHARMaceuticals'. In the past week Kaitlyn has had a near death experience once again. Dear Steve and Executives, We left Qld Childrens Hospital this week on Wednesday 14th August because my daughter Kaitlyn Spraggon is so well and doing so great after doctors had said I think theres a chance she could die. Unlike the treatment plan your hospital put in place, she has not needed to be put on life support, she has not needed to be pumped with adrenaline, she has not needed to spend more than 40 hours in ICU for observation, she has not needed to be heavily sedated and pumped full of a cocktail of opiates and sedatives, she has not needed to seize for five minutes and be brain dead because of the seizure management plan your hospital consultants put in place and she is alert and not in any pain and she has not had one seizure the whole time she had been admitted and she has not missed one dose of her daily Cannabis medicine but I do appreciate Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) during handover to Intensive Care threaten me and intimidate me as well as yourself, telling me Police will be called just after she told me there is a chance my daughter could die and for me to do what I need too without a social worker present, Is that even protocol? Telling someone their child will probably die without a social worker present. Please see below the transcript and recording of my Daughter Kaitlyn Spraggons admission in Emergency Department on Wednesday 7th August. Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: So I just wanted to keep you up to date with where we are at ok, so um when Kaitlyn was at home she had sats of high 80s when QAS arrived and they increased the oxygen a bit, now we have been able to wean some of that oxygen and she is currently sitting at 8.5litres and oxygen saturations are alright, so there is two parts to when you breathe, you breathe in oxygen and you breathe out carbon dioxide, her carbon dioxide is rising, so its rising from being at a completely normal level of 37 to 55 I State: She has had that before Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: So thats over the last hour, so that would suggest her breathing rate is appearing not quick enough for the amount she needs so theres that aspect of it, the 2nd aspect is that she has a lot of infection, so she has complete white out of one lung and when you listen the other one is completely infected, so when you look at it on the X-ray it doesnt look as bad as it sounds ok so I think she is working on a very small amount of blood, now we are going to get an ultrasound to see if theres anything that can be drained and we are going to, were giving her three lots of antibiotics to try and normally when she would come in we would only give her one but we are giving her three to cover whats called Staphylococcal to cover different sorts of bacteria so we would normally need Streptococcus to cover and 2nd type of infection, now my concern would be that the bacteria will get into her blood stream and that will make her very sick, there are teeny little signs that its starting to get in her blood stream and that her lactate is starting to rise, it hasnt risen very high its not in the danger zone but its starting to rise so thats making me start to be concerned and we might need life support, intubation, ventilation, inotropes with adrenaline and things like that ok and we will do everything we can to help. I State: But it makes it really hard when her daily medication in this hospital has been cannabis oil since 2014 and I know fair enough you dont know the story or whats going on but it makes it really hard when you come in here and say we cant administer a medicine what she has been on since 2014 in this hospital and Ive got documents to prove it, so are you going to ring Steve over this because Steve is well aware of whats going on. Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Yes and I have just rang Andrew Blanch whos the Deputy Director and hes also going to speak with Steve so and I have rang Anita Cohen about the same thing whos the general Paediatrician on tonight so I have had a wide discussion with people about the cannabis stuff, I think if we gave her any drugs to counteract cannabis withdrawal at the moment we may make the whole situation far worse because we will sedate her and anything at all that sedates her may cause her respiratory levels to rise further ok and I dont want to be responsible for making her worse at this current time ok so we are doing everything we can to make sure she can recover from this illness but I dont want you to not be aware she is very sick I State: Do you think she will recover? Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: I dont know I State: What are the chances though? Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: I dont know, I dont know what the chances are of recovery will be, I think there is a chance she could die in hospital. I State: What? Is it that bad? No, no, no Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Im not saying she will but she has a serious Illness that she has. I State: But how can you say that when she hasnt even had an ultrasound yet to determine Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: but she has two lungs fully infected I State: Ok yep Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Because we could see her right lung on X-ray and the left lung is also all infected, so that does not mean we will not do everything we can, you have been I State: I cant let her die I have worked so hard to keep her alive Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: I dont ever not tell parents the truth I State: I know, I know, can we go somewhere else maybe Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Where else would you like to go I State: Is it too much to go to Westmead Childrens Hospital Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: It would be I State: Can you please promise me you will try to do everything Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Yes and I promised already I will try to do everything but I need to let you know that this is a very serious illness ok and Im not saying she I State: Whats the other thing she has? Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Pneumonia & sepsis I State: So she has Sepsis throughout her body Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: She doesnt have Sepsis at the moment but Im worried she is slowly developing Sepsis I State: Ok Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Im doing everything I can to make the Sepsis stop but I dont want to not be honest with you because we are going to do everything we can I State: Ok so shouldnt she have support to help her breathing so shes not struggling to breathe? Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: So Ive spoken to ICU, I dont want to make, I dont want to put her on life support to early but I have also rang ICU to think about, do we need to go to ICU to wait to see whether or not, does she develop signs do we need to think about being in the right place for that to occur as soon as it needs to. I State: Yep Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: But Im not saying I may be right but I also need to be honest this is whats running through my head I State: Yep ok, is everyone in agreement to that? Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Yes I have rang and spoke to Andrew Blanch, I have rang Anita Cohen and Ive spoke to Steve ok, so all of these people who know you and I can ring Lisa Kane if you want her to be aware of the situation, I know she cant come in here. I State: She sees Kaitlyn once a year, how can Kaitlyn be smiling at me Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Go be with your Daughter, shes awake she maybe intubated by tomorrow, go and enjoy your daughter because its really important and leave us to do the medicine ok and you I State: She cant withdraw off cannabis medicine Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: No, no I mean I will look after the medical stuff thats what I mean I State: Yeah, yeah definitely Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: We cant withdraw her off cannabis medicine it will just make her worse, she wont be able to breathe I State: What about the Ultrasound Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Going by the X-ray I dont think theres a lot of drainable fluid its very early to have any drainable fluid. I State: Ok so is this from the bug she picked up from my son or is Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Yes I State: Oh it is, it wasnt this bad the other day Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Yeah but you put her on antibiotics on Monday and held it at bay so I think you would of been here a lot faster with a much sicker child if you had not given her antibiotics at home, so all those things you have done was the right thing to do and youve done the very best job you could. I State: Shes had this in the past just not so serious Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Go and enjoy your Daughter, go and chat to her, go interact with her I State: Its just I cant lose her, I worked so hard to get her progressing where she is!! Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: I know I have just told you some really significant news I State: I cant lose her, if I lose her I might as well go too because I have fought so hard to keep her alive, progressing to where she is, I cant lose her, you dont understand how hard I have fought to keep her alive, before she was on opiates and pharmaceuticals, I was giving her CPR all the time and I was at the stage I was going to drive off a cliff with her because I had enough of giving her CPR until I put her on cannabis and its changed her life, she was progressing, interacting, eating, talking and now she has picked up a virus because my 5 year old son and now look. Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: I will let you spend time with her and I will let you know I State: Will you let me know about the results of the ultrasound straight away? Dr Natalie Deuble (Paediatric Emergency Physician) states: Yes I will let you know I State: I feel sick, I cant lose her, come on Kaitlyn you can do this darling, mummy loves you, prove those doctors wrong. CONVERSATION ENDS............. Not long after this conversation above took place Kaitlyn was transferred to Intensive Care. I would like to know why a Paediatric Emergency Physician tells me one thing (which I have recorded) which was for me to do what I need too because they cant withdraw her off Cannabis medicine and then in handover states the complete opposite and then documents the complete opposite on Kaitlyns medical files stating cannabis can comprise her respiratory condition, not once did Dr Natalie Deuble state cannabis can compromise her respiratory condition (as I have the whole conversation recorded) what she did state was I spoke to Andrew Blanch who will speak with Steve the acting Director and I rang Anita Cohen over the Cannabis issue and if we gave Kaitlyn any drugs to counteract the cannabis withdrawal at the moment we are going to make the whole situation far worse because we will sedate her and anything that sedates her will cause her respiratory to rise further and I dont want to be responsible for making her worse, she is very sick, I think theres a chance she could die so you do what you need too. Why did Dr Natalie Deuble fabricate on Kaitlyns medical files? Was that to cover her own backside if my Daughter had of passed away? Which is falsification of medical records and treatment plan which is jeopardising my Daughters life, Dr Natalie Deuble is contradicting herself and is not worried about the general safety of my Daughter, Dr Natalie Deuble reported the wrong information what doctors follow which could have jeopardised my Daughters life. Were people going to point the finger at me and blame me for my Daughters death because I was following Doctors instructions? I would also like to know why you Steve McTaggart told me it was you who phoned QPS on me for following Doctors instructions as I have information what states different, my information states Dominic Tait liaised with QPS and so does my Daughters medical files. As for you Dominic Tait the hypocrite who actually did liaise with QPS, did you inform them of your recreational cannabis smoking when you rang them? and did you advise them my Daughter has been on this medicine in Qld Childrens Hospital since August 2014 which is documented throughout Kaitlyns medical files and did you adequately inform Qld Police Service of the risk associated with them confiscating cannabis medicine off parents who have been administering it to their child to treat a serious neurological condition for the past five years, as if police were referencing these documents and led to believe that it was safe to take this medicine away, they had not been provided correct information. Police could of been inadvertently putting childrens lives at risk taking this medicine away and not of known because Qld Health never advised them of the risk. I wonder why the police didnt act on your call Dominic Tait, I know you would of loved to have me dragged away from my Daughter just after consultants told me I think theres a chance my Daughter could die, it might have something to do with the backlash your Hospital would face and the fact nearly every consultant in that hospital have let me administer Cannabis medicine since August 2014, after all Im only following doctors orders. Most importantly - there has never been any doubt that cannabis medicine is what is in the medical best interests of my child to be administered, that it would not be in her medical best interests to be rapidly detoxed off it, that Qld health dont know how to safely rapidly detox a child off cannabis medicine and that cannabis medicine is what all medical professionals agree is what most effectively treats her seizures and pain, not only have Doctors stated this the Chief Health Officer of Qld (Jeannette Young) also stated it would be potentially fatal to take my Daughter off this medicine (I have that recorded too) I'm also happy to advise you that I have not seen one single police officer the whole time my Daughter has been admitted in the hospital. Not one. Every single one of you are tripping over your own feet and even fabricating on my Daughters medical files, youre insinuating security maybe needed, for what reason? For me exposing the truth and the corruption and medical negligence that occurs within Qld health and Qld Childrens Hospital. Every single one of you are putting your name on paper to cover your own backside to make it look like you've done the right thing, it wasnt for my benefit, it was for the benefit of the Queensland police and Queensland Health. I would also like to know why on my Daughters medical records under recommendations does it state this below: **Please note that mother has previously recorded conversations between the doctors, nurses and herself ** **Please note that mother has previously escalated concerns to media** Is that really medical recommendations for my Daughter? If you people didnt have anything to hide you wouldnt mind being recorded, each and every one of you have a guilty conscience. Under Qld law I am allowed to record a conversation without your consent when Im present in the room. I would also like to ask why the social worker taking over Leesa in ICU stated on Kaitlyns medical files that mother implied that cannabis medicine was in the suitcase in the room? Which never happened. The social worker did read supporting documents from the Federal Health Minister and several Doctors letters and she also did engage in further conversation with me in regards to cannabis, she was even communicating with my Grandmother. I am not dishonest unlike the practices of Queensland health and Qld Childrens Hospital, every word I have stated to you in my letters and in person is the absolute truth. I did go and meet with Denzil Clark superintendent at police headquarters, even Denzil stated the welfare & safety of my daughter must always remain the paramount consideration. See Steve & Executives when people have integrity, and they have a reputation for doing the right thing, even when no one else is watching, that matters, that gives you credibility so when you speak - people listen. I know there were 28 non-conformances with your procedure regarding cannabis medicine and in doing so you breached ISO9001:2015 and were non-compliant to your third-party quality management system, I really did get advice from the Canadian Department of health, I really did get advice from the world leader in cannabis medicine and paediatric use of it to treat epilepsy, I really did get advice from a critical care paramedic who specialises in airways in regards to the sleep study, I really have had police coming to my home with a search warrant and turn around and walk back out again telling me I was a good mum and for me to keep doing what I'm doing, the Caboolture police really do ignore My daughter's school every morning the Principal calls them to tell them I have cannabis medicine as per Jeannette Young's guidelines because they know I'm acting in the best interest of my child, And as much as I know you would've loved me too, I intentionally really didn't get a lawyer because I knew the moment I did you would have an excuse not to talk to me and to silence me and I was never going to let you do that, because I knew the whole time I was right and you were wrong. The people who run Queensland health and children's health Queensland may have no integrity and be deceptive and all keep each other's dirty little secrets because they are too scared to speak the truth - but Im not scared, I nearly lost my Daughter the other night and we need justice after this five year battle, - And since we are no longer in your hospital today I want you to do one thing - Think about all of the people in the room when you have these big board meetings about me, think of everyone that's been involved this admission and had an opinion on my daughter having this cannabis medicine - and what has led up to it, picture all of those faces, think of all of their big important titles - the Doctors, lawyers, executives, chiefs, directors, director generals, ministers and even the premier of Qld - think about how much so called power all these people have and how much money all of them are being paid, these people who are trusted to run the health department of Queensland and who are responsible for the provision of health services for 5 million Australian citizens....think about every single one of them, including yourself ........ And then think of me........... ...... Nothing I did was an accident, everything was thought through, my strategy has simply been to use your own systems to prove you wrong - Your silence and what you haven't done is more telling than any letter or any word any of you have ever said. So why you all have been fabricating on my Daughters medical files, I have been sitting here documenting absolutely everything and that has told me more than anything else. ..... Turns out having integrity is more powerful than having a title..... Hopefully this medical intervention is the last my daughter will need in her life, after spending the first six years of it pretty much living in Queensland health hospitals, hopefully now we can start to put this behind us slowly and we will need less and less contact with your hospital as time goes on. However she will still need medical care for her back and hip and for other things that may arise, And when she does, I want you to remember this letter, and I want to be treated with respect, I do not ever want to be threatened again, I do not want to ever have medical treatment delayed or withheld from my child again, And I never want to be lied to all miss lead by anyone in Queensland health ever again in regards to my daughter's treatment. I am not wasting one more second of my life thinking about Queensland health or children's health Queensland. While you all work in this toxic environment of fear where you can't speak up about what is right and you are rendered ineffective, that's your nightmare to live, that's not the real world, and I am not letting you take one more minute of my family's time away from me because that is what you have stolen, You have taken up time that my family didn't have to spare. What I have learnt from having my daughter is that life is precious and that family is what matters most and love is what life is all about. While you were consumed with fear, I am going home to love my daughter and I'm going home to be a mother to my other children who have had to also put up with all of the time I have spent dealing with you, Andrew and John over the past five years, I'm going to go and spend time with my mother and father, of which I could've lost my Mother at Christmas time to cancer, I wasted five years dealing with you all and I've been too busy to spend any quality time with them . I'm going to sit and have cups of tea with my Gran in the sun and enjoy her conversations because she's not getting any younger and you have also stolen time that I should've been spending with her. I know I was right, and you were wrong, and we all knew that the whole time. Im glad we all agree - as I will not be having this conversation again in the future when I access Queensland Childrens Hospital. Turns out I wasn't bluffing when I told you I can find out absolutely anything I need too, even whats discussed in board meetings, most of the nurses and nurse managers in that hospital treat me like family because after all my Daughter did spend 28 months of her life in hospital before I put her on Cannabis Medicine.. 03.01.2022 For the next 2 days a dust storm is expected to sweep past the region. Its important that people with asthma or other respiratory conditions be prepared when dust storms are forecast in their area. High levels of dust can irritate the lungs and cause an asthma flare up. The stress from a severe weather event can also cause high emotions such as anxiety which can also trigger asthma symptoms. Things to remember:... Dust storms bring increased air pollution which causes breathing difficulties in people with asthma by irritating the lungs The longer youre exposed, the greater chance for symptoms Children and the elderly are most at risk of breathing difficulties Symptoms can linger for days after the dust storm Dust storm asthma plan People with asthma are advised to take the following precautions to minimise the effects of dust storms on their health: Stay indoors, with windows, doors and air vents closed Stay in air-conditioned premises, if possible If you have an air conditioner switch it to recycle or recirculate to reduce the amount of dust entering your home Take preventer medication, as directed Avoid vigorous exercise outdoors Follow your personal asthma action plan. If asthma symptoms occur, dont delay: Follow your personal asthma action plan. If you don't have an asthma action plan, take 4 separate puffs of a blue/grey reliever If the symptoms aren't going away or are getting worse, follow the steps in First Aid for Asthma Anyone with concerns about their asthma should seek medical advice from their health practitioner, and anyone experiencing wheezing, chest tightness or difficulty breathing should seek urgent medical assistance. 02.01.2022 Stanthorpe/Applethorpe - bushfire as at 6.40pm Wed 11 Sept Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews will continue to monitor the Stanthorpe/Applethorpe area over the coming days. The fire is now extinguished but smoke will continue to affect the area. The safety of residents and firefighters remains a priority. Local residents may now return to their homes and the previous exclusion zone has ceased. Properties are not under direct threat at this time. Residents affected by smoke should close windows and doors. Those suffering a respiratory condition should keep their medications close by. Motorists should drive with caution and to conditions. Earlier today, our CEO had noticed a publication in relation to a bushfire in which a member of the public confirmed that their publication was false. At 11:57AM today, we received a message from another local making us aware that further information that this organisation published was false. ... Last week on Tuesday, the organisation stated that they were not able to verify an incident at Morayfield Shopping Centre, in which this humiliated and caused a member of the public to receive abuse from other persons. One of our staff, which is in a different state, was able to verify this incident the same day. There is also police sources that verify this incident. Due to the sensitive situation we are currently having with the bushfire emergencies, we are urging members of the public to only obtain their information from emergency services themselves or the mainstream media (the ones who broadcast on television or the radio). I have noticed that in times of emergency this organisation often misleads the public in order to gain more likes. If youre not able to verify your information with other sources, the likelihood of it being not true and misleading is very high. In times of emergency, there will be broadcast on television and radios. Please use these broadcasts as one of your go to sources of information. Not ones that only care about using the situation to gain more followers.
