23.01.2022 Today, on World Ovarian Cancer Day, we advocate for the mothers, sisters, daughters & friends fighting with Ovarian Cancer. We stand alongside the survivors, families and supporters whom come together and raise their voices in solidarity in the fight against the "silent killer". Ovarian Cancer is the most lethal of all female cancers - yet it is overlooked and underfunded, and every woman is at risk. Most women are diagnosed once the cancer has already spread, making it more... difficult to treat. What's more, is that there are often delays in diagnosing the disease, as there is NO early detection test. Symptoms are often confused with other, less severe, illnesses. Here at MBOG, the fight against Ovarian Cancer is something we hold very close to our hearts.
