We need fabulous soloist singers who are great storytellers and strong ensemble singers able to sustain tight harmonies; great dancers who can bust a good move but are also not afraid to get a bit silly; actors who are great at comedy and able to manage a crowd confidently. Although we never meet Steven, we learn all about him through the disclosures of four people in his life: his Wife, Mother, Father and Ex. The characters share intimate details about their life with Steven and the things they struggle to tell him. Interestingly, we learn that Steven has his own secrets and as a result will damage the relationships in his life.... The production was well received and earnt Gold Palm Theatre Award norminations for its four actors, Director and Musical Director. Jessica has always had a passion for the arts and started dance and vocal lessons at an early age. Born into a theatre-loving family, Jessica's parents introduced her to musical theatre and since then she has been involved in several productions including Aladdin, Oliver, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hairspray, Spring Awakening and most recently Best of British with MBTC, as well as many more Cabaret performances. Jessica is a nurse in community aged care and loves the opportunity to perform when she can as a hobby. Jessica can't wait to bring her favourite theatre songs to the stage. Since then, Connor has studied at multiple tertiary performing arts institutions and has been involved in a number of locally filmed Television series’ and Feature Films. Mainly however, Connor has performed at a myriad of theatres, halls and bars across the greater Brisbane area with a multitude of inde...pendent, community and corporate organisations. 10.01.2022 Introducing Sheree Fitzgerald as part of the incredibly talented In Bloom cast. Sheree wears many hats as a Performer and Choreographer, from working on fabulous community theatre shows such as this one, and choreographing for High School musicals, to touring with cabaret connoisseurs Candy Shop Show Australia. She moved to Sydney at the age of 17 to complete a full-time dance course and soon after found her love for cabaret, contemporary dance and children's theatre. Sheree ...also has over 10 years experience and a great passion for teaching dance and musical theatre to students of all ages, and last year she had the time of her life teaching the performing arts program at a Summer Camp in the States. Very glad to be home now though, her most recent feat is acting in educational theatre, teaching kids about the importance of looking after your mental health and cyber safety, in schools all over South East Queensland. Although Sheree has been lucky enough to be performing during these uncertain times, there is just something about a theatre and a group of insanely talented humans that she just couldn't say no to, and she's keen as a bean to share the stage with them all! 06.01.2022 We are excited to introduce another new face to the NeverLand stage. Meet Brandon Taylor-Cotton. Local to the Sunshine Coast, Brandon is passionate about performing and is excited to be taking to the stage for Backwards Broadway 2020. For the last four years, Brandon has been a children's performer across the four ships of the Disney Cruise Line fleet, working alongside some of Disney's most beloved characters. Brandon's previous theatre works include Back to the 80's (Roar P...erforming Arts), Captain Moonlite (Redcliffe Musical Theatre), Grease (The Show Co.), Legally Blonde (PRIMA), Fame: The Musical (Squids Theatrical), The Wizard of Oz (Suncoast City Performing Arts) and Little Shop of Horrors (SKIT Theatre Company). Whilst working, volunteering and being involved in her communities, Imogen manages to find time for her true passion: performing. With a strong dance background, she was assistant choreographer for Imagine Diz (MBYTC) and was involved in MBTC's production of Fame as Iris earlier this year before its postponement. 02.01.2022 Is a mother's love enough? Introducing Michelle Allan as Diane Kirby in Blackrock. Michelle is an award winning Actor and Director who hit the stage at the age of 9 and discovered a passion that has now spanned over 35 years. She performed in countless shows for CHATS, Taree Arts Council and Taree Armchair Theatre covering Shakespeare to musicals. Michelle then traveled professionally with theatre restaurants including Fawlty Towers and Satorial Headlock. Once moving to QLD s...he performed with BATS, Sandgate Theatre Company , Mousetrap and then joined Excalibur Theatre Company travelling on the SEQ Theatre Festival Circuit for over ten years. This gave her the opportunity to immerse herself in a plethora of roles in original works. In 2010 Michelle founded Focus On-Stage where she has instilled her passion for the stage in over 100 young people across the Moreton Shire.
