25.01.2022 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! JETS U20 3 STRIKERS U20 1 75 minutes Kyle Speirs has followed Danny Champness in scoring from the spot (see video) to put Jets two goals ahead. But credit goes to Liam Brown, taking a quick clearance from Bertrum Speirs, running three quarters of the length of the field before being brought down in the box.

25.01.2022 ROAR-ING SUCCESS: We have great news to finish the season for Moreton Bay United's youth development program, adding to our growing roll of honour. Full story: https://www.moretonbayunited.com//roar-ing-success-for-jets

24.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS: Jets' midfielder Jackson Courtney-Perkins has been selected in the 25-man squad to represent the NPL All-Stars and Queensland State team to face Brisbane Roar on December 5 and New South Wales on December 12 - at Dolphin Stadium and Perry Park respectively.

24.01.2022 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! JETS 5 GOLD COAST UTD 3 67 minutes Tom Aulton, with his first for the club, has put some daylight between the teams. The defender turned in from close range after a scramble from a free kick (see video). Jets needed that!

24.01.2022 The result may not have gone our way, but there's plenty of great action in this gallery of pictures by Stephen Archer from Sunday's final Jets match of the season against Brisbane Roar Youth at Wolter Park.

23.01.2022 Joey Champness, who joined ACE as a junior, then Moreton Bay United and played in our 2015 NPL Premiership and Grand Final double-winning team, has joined Brisbane Roar on loan for the upcoming A-League season. Joey, whose family lives in Warner, is contracted to Newcastle Jets. Great to see him back in Brisbane.

23.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT: Midfielder Emryn Donnelly-Fagan has re-signed for Moreton Bay United. Emryn was a Jets junior before moving away but returned for the 2020 campaign and quickly established himself in the heart of our midfield, missing only a handful of games through injury. Great to have Emryn back.

22.01.2022 UPDATE GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOALS! JETS 3 GOLD COAST UTD 0 19 minutes Danny Champness, pictured, made it two, taking a short pass, gliding into the area and sliding past the keeper! Superbly done by the 19-year-old striker, who then set up Matt Heath for a tap in from close range to make it 3-0. Jets cutting through the Gold Coast defence. That came after Gold Coast had several chances but shot or headed well wide.

22.01.2022 FINAL SCORE JETS 5 GOLD COAST UTD 5 Unbelievable game. A match of two totally different halves. Jets led 4-0 at the interval through Danny Champness 2 and Matt Heath 2. Excellent moves, fine finishing and smiles all round on and off the pitch - the points in the bag, surely? But Gold Coast got a break soon after the restart and never stopped pushing, pressing and working. Tom Aulton made it 5-3 but still Gold Coast came back and drew level with a minute to go. No-one north of the Brisbane River saw that coming, but credit to the visitors for never giving up. Plenty now for the hosts to work on because next it’s relegation-threatened Brisbane City at home on Sunday! Big crowd, big match.

20.01.2022 FINAL SCORE JETS U20 3 STRIKERS U20 1 In the end a comfortable victory for Jets, despite going behind early on. Brayden O’Regan equalised and second half penalties by Danny Champness and Kyle Speirs sealed the win. Liam Brown (pictured right) won both spot kicks and Cooper O’Regan (pictured left) was particularly impressive getting forward from full back. With the Under 18s winning 4-0 it has been a good start to the day at Wolter Park. Can the seniors make it three?

20.01.2022 FINAL SCORE JETS 1 BRISBANE ROAR YOUTH 4 Not the big finish Jets hoped for but an excellent opportunity for youth players. Kealan Crawford, Cooper O’Regan and Alex Dyson all made their senior debuts in a much changed side. Denver Crickmore saved two penalties as Roar gained the upper hand. Jets had chances, Chom Arop heading at the keeper and shooting wide. Ultimately, the result made no difference to Jets’ finishing position of fifth which is a great achievement considering the injuries and disruptions to the 2020 season.

20.01.2022 THEY’VE DONE IT! PREMIERS! Congratulations to Jets Under 13 Girls who this afternoon won their premiership. The Girls entered their match at Easts level on points with Logan and with a better goal difference of just one goal. Jets were level 1-1 at half time thanks to Lucinda Wolfe’s goal and had to dig deep after the break, but they worked hard and secured the one point they needed from a tight game against the side in third. Fantastic effort today and across the whole season by the players, coach and parents. No wonder they were smiling after the game (see picture).

19.01.2022 Congratulations to Alex Dyson (left), Kealan Crawford (centre) and Cooper O’Regan who made their senior Jets’ debuts tonight. The first of many games in the gold and black we hope.

19.01.2022 THE CLASS OF 2020: Jets’ senior men’s squad (including a number of the long-term injuries) posed with coaches and officials for a final picture this afternoon. Fifth place after a season like no other is a great achievement. Thank you to everyone in the picture and those players unable to join us today.

19.01.2022 FINAL SCORE EASTS 2 JETS 1 A goal eight minutes from time snatched the points for Easts tonight. In a close game Matt Heath, pictured earlier this season, pulled Jets level on the stroke of half time after the hosts had taken the lead. We had a number of chances but couldn’t convert them. Jets now finish their season with three successive home games in 11 days starting with Gold Coast United on Wednesday at 7.30pm.

18.01.2022 JETS 1 vs STRIKERS 1 70 Minutes The visitors equalise. A break down the right wing and they played it across to the left side where they had the extra man and Ryan Palmer put it away. Strikers have edged this half and got their reward. COME ON JETS!

18.01.2022 GOOD LUCK: Moreton Bay United’s Under 13 Girls could win their NPLW Premiership today. A win or a point at Easts, kick off 4.15pm, will secure the title in our final fixture. Jets go into the match level on 24 points with Logan, who have completed their fixtures, but with a one-goal better goal difference! Easts are in third three points behind. Nail-biting finale for the girls. Good luck to everyone. GO JETS!

18.01.2022 CONGRATULATIONS: Bek Doward, who played for Moreton Bay United last season, completed a remarkable Football Queensland and Football Brisbane double in the 2020 season. Full story: https://www.moretonbayunited.com/post/bek-at-the-double

17.01.2022 JETS 1 BRISBANE ROAR YOUTH 3 65 minutes Solomon Weldemarian has his second of the night skipping round Denver Crickmore and scoring from a tight angle. Before that goal, Cooper O’Regan made his senior debut coming on for Sam Dickinson. Jets needing a big finish now.

17.01.2022 Big northside derby for Jets tonight against Brisbane Strikers. Both sides looking to make a late drive for the top four places. Jets on a good run of four wins and a draw in their last six games. Alex Tabillon the captain today. Jets line up: Denver Crickmore, Nick Bernardi, Alex Tabillon, Declan Smith, Tom Aulton, Wil Edmiston, Emryn Donnelly-Fagan, Jackson Courtney-Perkins, Chom Arop, Linden Farr, Ethan Grimley. Subs: Byron Sinnerton, Zach Kierpal, Ben Harris, Danny Champness, Bertrum Speirs, Alex Dyson. GO JETS!

14.01.2022 After 16 months out through injury, Chomba Arop is delighted to be back. As we countdown to tomorrow's derby clash with Brisbane Strikers at Wolter Park (7pm), Chomba says all his efforts are being channelled into one target. Full story:

13.01.2022 Vote for our Senior Men’s team gaffer Royce Brownlie to lead the NPL All-Stars Men’s team against A-League side Brisbane Roar FC and the New South Wales NPL All-Stars

13.01.2022 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! JETS U20 2 STRIKERS U20 1 56 minutes Danny Champness has just forced Jets into the lead from the penalty spot (see video). It has sent a good response by Jets who trailed in the first half before Champness released Brayden O’Regan with a great through ball and Brayden finished.

12.01.2022 GOOD LUCK: Jackson Courtney-Perkins yesterday started a trial with A-League outfit Central Coast Mariners. The 21-year-old forward had a light first session with Mariners' squad which is in pre-season. Jackson joined Jets in June last year and has since scored 12 goals in 28 NPL appearances. "Since I got back from Germany I've been looking to see how far I can go in Australia," he said. Jackson has messaged Josh Hong, who joined Mariners' youth team from Jets last year and hopes to catch up with him, while also closely following Moreton Bay United's fortunes in the NPL. "If we can finish strongly, I think it would cap off a great season, considering all the injuries we've had," Jackson said. We wish you the best of luck in your trial Jackson.

10.01.2022 ZAC'S BACK: Striker Zac Kierpal, who scored for our Under 18s, 20s and Men last season, has re-signed for Moreton bay United. It was a remarkable year for Zac who scored 22 times including three in two senior games against top-four sides (one at Olympic, two at home to Gold Coast Knights). Hoping for more of the same in 2021 in the new Under 23 and Senior competitions.

10.01.2022 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! JETS 1 OLD COAST UTD 0 1 minute What a start! Ethan Grimley took a touch round a defender, shot, keeper parried and Matt Heath tapped in! Wow!

09.01.2022 THIRD TIME LUCKY: After two cancellations, Jets are now facing NPL rivals Gold Coast United at Wolter Park tonight, kick off 7.30pm. Jets have three home games to finish the season and want three points tonight. Gold Coast need points to ease growing fears of a late relegation battle. Alec Tabillon is back IN the Jets line up, otherwise unchanged from Saturday. GO JETS! Jets line up: Denver Crickmore, Nick Bernardi, Ethan Grimley, Matt Heath, Linden Farr, Declan Smith, Tom Aulton, Alex Janovsky, Alex Tabillon, Danny Champness, Emryn Donnelly-Fagan. Subs Sam Dickinson, Luke Behan, Chom Arop, Zac Kierpal, Wil Edmiston, Ryan McInness.

08.01.2022 HALF TIME JETS 4 GOLD COAST UTD 0 Matt Heath - Danny Champness - Matt Heath - Danny Champness! Two goals apiece, one assist each .... no wonder Matt and Danny were smiling heading for the changing rooms. Great half for Jets who struck with speed and fine finishing. Champness scored the fourth tapping in after Matt Heath broke down the right, left one defender on the ground and drew the keeper before finding his strike partner. Gold Coast have had plenty of possession, some chances but not really tested Denver Crickmore. Bring on the second half! GO JETS!

07.01.2022 GOOD NEWS: Wil Edmiston, who collected three end-of-season awards for 2020, has re-signed for Moreton Bay United for 2021. Wil made his senior debut in August last year and won Jets' Young Player of the Year award to go with the Under 20 team's Player's Player and Best and Fairest awards. Wil is another who has risen though the junior ranks at Jets. Great to have him back in the gold and black.

07.01.2022 ANNOUNCEMENT: Ethan Grimley said he couldn't pass up the opportunity to join Jets this year. We're delighted he did and now Ethan has re-signed for 2021! The attacking midfielder joined us after the restart and did not miss a match, despite admitting part of 2020 was about working his way back to full fitness following a bad ACL injury last year. Great to have Ethan back on board for next season.

07.01.2022 BERTRUM'S BACK: Bertrum Speirs will be back in the goalkeeper's jersey for Moreton Bay United this year. Another product of Jets' junior development program, Bertrum made his senior debut at the age of 16 in the victory at Crusaders in 2019, saving a penalty. His 2020 season was cut short by injury, but it's great to have the popular keeper back for 2021.

07.01.2022 EXCELLENT NEWS: Danny Champness, another Jet who has risen through the juniors to our senior ranks, is back in the gold and black for 2021. Danny figured in 18 men's fixtures last season and eight Under 20 games, scoring eight times showing plenty of talent and promise. Great to have Danny back again.

06.01.2022 JETS 4 GOLD COAST UTD 3 61 minutes Just as Jets raced away at the start of the first half, Gold Coast have done the same in the second! One a penalty and one from a remarkably tight angle. Unbelievable. Declan Smith went off at half time. Luke Behan is on with Chom Arop and Wil Edmiston. Jets had to make changes. Game on now!

06.01.2022 HALF TIME JETS 1 vs ROAR YOUTH 2 VIDEO: Our keeper Denver Crickmore is the hero at the break after saving a Brisbane Roar penalty just a few minutes before half time, with a strong low save to his right. Matt Heath gave us the lead, the visitors equalised soon after and then took the lead. Roar Youth have looked the stronger side at times, so Jets looking to go up through the gears in the second half. LET’S GO JETS!

06.01.2022 BIG MATCH: Local derbies don't come much bigger than this. Brisbane City are in a spot of bother at the bottom of the table and urging fans to come to Wolter Park tomorrow, kick-off 6pm. Jets are looking to bounce back from Wednesday's remarkable 5-5 draw with Gold Coast United and have a big finish to year. So much at stake. Join us and support Jets in their penultimate game of 2020. Canteen and bar open. See you there. COVID relegations apply - sign-in on arrival, use sanitisation stations and maintain social distancing.

05.01.2022 FINAL SCORE JETS WOMEN 0 THE GAP 3 On the number of chances a fair scoreline but this was a brave, hardworking display by a very young Jets squad which frustrated their finals chasing opponents. Kahli Anderson had a goal ruled out, Alyssa Hutchinson shot over and good pressing forced The Gap into hurried clearances. Ro Petersen, only cleared to play just before kick off due to injury, was kept busy throughout making a series of fine saves. But the number of chances finally told and The Gap take the points.

05.01.2022 GGGGGGOOOOOAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!! JETS 1 vs STRIKERS 0 We get the breakthrough after 25 minutes! Beautiful interplay between Chom Arop & Jackson Courtney-Perkins down the right side put Jacko through in the box. He cut across, beating three defenders in the process before getting it to Linden Farr who drilled it into the bottom left corner! Earlier, Chom fired over the crossbar & Strikers sent a drive just over the crossbar from the edge of the box. GO JETS!

04.01.2022 FULL TIME JETS 1 vs STRIKERS 2 The visitors snatch a winner with seconds left. They broke after clearing a Jets’ free kick and after Jets weren’t able to clear the ball in the lead-up, managed to slide a shot past Denver Crickmore. Although Strikers were the better side in the second half, Jets will feel hard done by overall. Jackson Courtney-Perkins had a one-on-one chance well saved after Jets pounced on a Strikers’ defensive mistake. TOUGH LUCK LADS!

04.01.2022 BIG WEEK: Jets Seniors have three games in eight days coming up, starting with a big northside derby against Brisbane Strikers on Saturday. Jets are inform and pushing hard for the top four, three more points would be precious. Our Under 18s are also at 3pm and they are only one point off top spot in the ladder. Our Under 20s are also on a run sitting in fifth place on the ladder, five points off the leaders. Come down and support all our teams. Canteen and bar open. COVID regulations apply - sign-in on arrival, use the sanitisation stations and maintain social distancing.

04.01.2022 REGISTER NOW: In 2021 Moreton Bay United is launching three specific Academy Support Programs to help to develop talented players in this region. 04.01.2022 DENVER'S BACK: Goalkeeper Denver Crickmore will be back between the goalposts for Jets again in 2021. The 24-year-old joined us from Sunshine Coast Wanderers last season and impressed, especially with a succession of penalty saves, including two in the final match of the season against Brisbane Roar!

03.01.2022 Jets striker Matt Health earns a spot in the NPL QLD Team of the Week after a 10-goal thriller at Wolter Park last night! Congrats!

03.01.2022 NEW DATE: Jets are back at Wolter Park on Wednesday for the first of three successive home games to finish the 2020 season. Gold Coast United are the visitors, kick-off 7.30pm. Jets will be looking to bounce back from Saturday's defeat. Gold Coast could, mathematically, still get caught in a relegation battle. Canteen and bar open. COVID ground rules apply, register on arrival, use the sanitisation stations and maintain social distancing.

02.01.2022 HALF TIME JETS 1 STRIKERS 0 Good first half by Jets. Linden Farr’s crisp finish separates the sides. Jets have had several chances, firing over, wide or having shots blocked. Strikers have also fired over and had their keeper receiving attention for five minutes after a nasty landing when taking a high ball. Thankfully he is okay. Another enthralling half to come. GO JETS!

02.01.2022 JETS 1 BRISBANE ROAR YOUTH 2 50 minutes VIDEO: Amazing start to the second half .... three Jets substitutions and Denver Crickmore has saved another penalty, this time diving to his left! Heath, Champness and Grimley have been replaced by Chom Arop, Byron Sinnerton and Kealan Crawford - who is making his senior debut! GO JETS!

01.01.2022 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAL! JETS 1 BRISBANE ROAR 1 19 minutes The Champness/Heath combination works again. Danny Champness slide the ball through to Matt Heath, pictured, who took a moment and smashed a low shot to the keeper’s right. Jets did look to have control of the game, but the Roar have just equalised through a shot from just inside the box by Oliver Plusnin, which beat Jets’ keeper Denver Crickmore at his near post.
