12.01.2022 Hi Guys! I created a short video to introduce myself and give you a free technique on how to neutralise then transform strong emotions that may not be serving you, check it out! https://youtu.be/9nWf8oUjjEc
03.01.2022 How do you cure a phobia in one session? Well its simple, but not easy. Let me explain. The brain processes things in very complex ways and as technology develops we can understand "chunks" of what the brain does in specific situations. On a simplistic level, for our purposes, lets take food for example, we now know that when we eat some tasty food it releases a little shot of dopamine into the body which signals "Mmm that was delicious!" and it receives this inputs through i...ts senses, in this case taste. How does this apply to a phobia or fear? Imagine for a moment, if you will, a past pleasant memory you have. Something where you took an action and you were really happy with the outcome, maybe you were really proud of yourself or the impact you had on another person, something you contributed, whatever it may be. Now go back into the moment and FEEL the feelings you had at the time, how do you feel now? I bet your feeling at least a little better than you did before right? And its through this principle that I am able to cure a phobia or remove fear, through the process of association and disassociation. When we are young or go through a period of intense emotion (PTSD) our brain doesn’t always make the right decision between identifying a rational fear in the moment or coding a heightened fear response in order to protect us (better safe than sorry!) and this is what leads to a phobia or anxiety. So, in a nutshell: -Our brains store memories, -These memories trigger a physiological response in our bodies -The unconscious mind may misjudge a situation to protect you That is the basic premise that I use to cure a phobia. The real mind bending stuff comes from how I get the brain to reprocess the other sensory systems, mainly images, sounds and feelings. But that’s a topic for another blog post :) For now I'll leave you with something to research so you can get a greater understanding of what I do. Everything comes from a system called NLP. I highly encourage you to check it out and look up John Grinder, the co-founder of NLP. He takes a pragmatic approach to Strategic Intervention, healing, even coaching. He is a good person and will give you an idea of the kinds of services I'll be offering in the future. To our health! Morgan
