23.01.2022 Well firstly I need to apologise to you all it’s been so long since our last post!! Today marks 3 years of my journey here at MRCP! 2020 A year none of us will forget.! Life’s thrown 1 crazy curve ball at the world & as we all look to find a new normal, remember how we ‘used to be able to do things’ adjust to this way of life there is only 1 thing I want to say. THANK YOU. ... Thank you to my staff. You are simply amazing, I have the most incredible team, a team that share the same vision, passion & care to serve our guests whilst continuing to improve MRCP & continue making it look great every day.. I am so lucky to have such an incredible team. They’ve battled through the changes, red tape & more paperwork than ever, they’ve kept smiling & continued to do amazing things to serve you, our guests. Thank you to our amazing guests who have supported us, past & present. Thank you for working with us, excepting the changes & making our jobs easier when things are changing for us daily. Your support has been tremendous & it’s be great to continue to see you all relaxing within our park. To everyone that has visited/stayed/have an annual site, everyone that has had something to do with MRCP.. When I look back in the past 12months, we’ve all faced the fears & lived with the impact from the horrendous ‘C’ word, 2020 has been scary to say the least. In these times it’s a must that we reflect on the positives. We were lucky that we weren’t put out of action for too long (although today’s news is so scary for us all, for up coming bookings we will keep you in the loop as soon as we know any info so please - sit tight, stay safe!) I would like to touch on some of the bigger highlights of 2020 that we are all so proud of & made happen even during this impact: Completely renovated toilet blocks for you! - Not just a coat of paint, we wanted to bring them into the modern world & think the results speak volume - men, stay tuned its so close! New decks on en-suite cabins 18 more sites being added to the southern end of the park And.... There are a few secrets to be let out of the bag over the coming days/weeks that we are beyond excited to share! Our mission is to give you a place to Escape, Relax, Unnwind. Now we want more, more for you, we want to be more than just a caravan park to give you an even more memorable stay so WATCH this space!!! I can’t express this enough - THANK YOU. Thank you to my family & friends who have supported me through this challenging year, it hasn’t been easy on anyone. Here’s to the next 12months. Can’t wait to see you all again soon.! Stay safe. 21.01.2022 Something exciting happened while we were in isolation.....check out our new DOG WASH!!! It is open to the public and everyone is welcome to use it! To celebrate its opening we are giving away 5 free dog washes....to be in the running all you have to do is like this post, share it & tag 5 friends!! ... The dog wash is only $10 per wash and takes $1 and $2 coins. The water is heated so your fur baby will stay nice and warm, it also has a conditioner & flea and tick rinse option! If you would like your dog washed but you are unable to due to health restrictions we are happy to wash it for you (by appointment only) So lets spread the word and let as many people know as we can about the awesome new service provided by Morgan Riverside Caravan Park. 21.01.2022 Meet our newest team member- Betty the sheep! She was orphaned and we have taken her in to join our gang. If you would like to have a cuddle or give her a bottle, pop into office anytime!

20.01.2022 Good evening friends!! What do ya say hey...?! I just wanted to touch base & see how everyone is coping. Send us a pic, tell us what you have been up too in lockdown..? Check out the exciting day here at MRCP...?! Fair to say it hasn’t wheelie bin a enjoyable job but it’s a job that’s gotta be done...! We’re halfway through.. Anyone keen to give me a hand, can supply welding shield to keep the water spray off... The serious stuff. As you are all aware ‘Circuit Breaker lock...down’ finishes at midnight tonight. As of tomorrow morning our office will be open, anyone that had a booking that cancelled you are more than welcome regarding you are safe & well. The biggest thing we ask for is common sense, abide by the rules, remain socially distant, respect the 4m2 rules & PLEASE if you have been in/near any hotspots/unwell in anyway PLEASE stay home. Fair to say we here at MRCP don’t want the reputation & the media here of a certain pizza bar.... Where possible please phone ahead for all bookings & arrivals. Take care MRCP Crew.

20.01.2022 We are not sure who is going to tell these guys once isolation is over that they wont be having endless rides in the Ute and living in the office all day! Anybody else's dogs loving having you home all day?! Send us your pictures of your pets at home with you we would love too see them, we love connecting with you all!

14.01.2022 How good is it to be back!!!!! The weather really turned it on for us this weekend and it has been so good to see the park so busy again! Thank you to everyone who has stayed this weekend or is staying soon. Also a massive thank you to everyone who has checked in on us, offered to help and supported us through this time, we really appreciate it. It has been so awesome to see everybody out and about and so happy to be back in the park! There is plenty to do, why not go fishing, ride motorbikes, hunt for fossils, explore the history, do the local walking trails, bird watching, wine tasting, canoeing & kayaking, 4wd, ride the ferry and so much more!! Come and explore Morgan's beauty while its a bit chilly in the water

11.01.2022 What a weekend! Its so great to be back! Thank you to all of our guests who braved the cold and stayed with us. To our semi permanents.... welcome home! If you were here over the weekend we would love to see the pictures of you enjoying your stay with us. Bazz the pig had lots of visitors and is loving his new home!... Here are a couple of photos of the kids in the park helping collect the cans and bottles, we had a lot of help all weekend......thanks kids!

09.01.2022 Commitment noun A promise or firm decision to do something: I had a commitment to you all to continue to make this place better. Well.... another huge goal completed. I feel we could write a book about this renovation (this is the original toilet block for both sexes that clearly has been left untouched for 50+ years), the stories about what we had to do/modify to get this end result would be good enough for each part to have their own chapters.... But I think this is a case of ‘less is more’. The pictures & end result can now do the talking!! For all our hard work I ask a favour, please, spread the word - MRCP is still just getting better, tell ya friends, share this post!!! There has been nothing but blood, sweat, tears & some laughter but the project is now DONE!!! The team here at MRCP are extremely proud of the end result!!! I certainly couldn’t have done this without these people, the BIGGEST thanks go to: Greg & Shane, the demo, the clean up, rendering, tiling, knowledge & plenty laughter! Waikerie Plumbing & Gas GB Electrical John my MRCP Caretaker Surething Engineering Glenn Dingwall spending his day off helping with roof replacement And of course, you our guests for working with us during these disruptions.! Thank you! Works completed: - All new drains literally from the bottom of each toilet through to the septic tank! - All new dump point - New under floor drains - New storm water - All new water supplies, water points moved & reinstated - All new roof - this included the removal & reinstallation of the solar system - All new wiring through out - New lights incl sensor on/off - Internal walls removed - Floor ground & re-levelled - All remaining internal walls rendered & painted - New wall & floor tiles - Privacy wall extended - All new door frames - External Doors all reworked - New internal partitions - New double vanity - All plumbing & electrical points hidden in walls/no longer exposed - Installed a hot water system! Yes the men now have hot water for the first time ever!! - New mirrors (to be installed) - New concrete pathways including a ramp - New toilets & cisterns - New taps - New toilet roll holders Both toilet blocks done in 2020! And the funny part is not Leigh's modelling skills Competition time...we are giving away a custom pack of MRCP merchandise! This will include a pair of tracksuit pants, a hoodie, stubby holder and a MRCP hat! 04.01.2022 Who is ready to be back at Morgan Riverside Caravan Park again!! We are open for business from MONDAY All facilities will be open, however it’s important that we all adhere to the government guidelines surrounding hygiene, social distancing and group gathering. ... During stage one there will be check in forms that we require all of our guests to fill in on arrival, including semi permanents While we are excited to be able to welcome guests back into our park, the health and safety of our staff and guests remains our top priority. As such, we have implemented a range of measures to ensure that our park is CovidSafe and to comply with both Federal and State Government requirements.
