I just made this warm turmeric tonic which is packed full of immunity boosters like ginger, peppercorns, chilli, Sticky Tips honey, lemon, cinnamon and more - it warms you to the core and is sure to keep the sniffles at bay! 23.01.2022 To all my wonderful friends, customers + followers... Morgan & Meg started as a blog in 2012 which became a market stall in 2016, thanks to a little push from my Dad who pushed me to stop thinking about it and "just do it" and my friends who gifted me a gazebo for my 30th birthday. For a few years now I've shared with you my passion for food and my goal to one day have my own special place to share my creations with the world, in the form of a small cafe that focuses on loca...l produce and sells gourmet treats and pantry items. Well I am absolutely OVER THE MOON to share with you that the day has finally come! Today, I collected the keys for this lovely little place in North Haven, NSW and now I start the exciting journey of turning it into my new cafe, The Nook North Haven. YOU have been part of this journey, YOU have helped to make it happen. So I want to say a massive heart felt thanks to every one of you for your support, for believing in the dream and for cheering me on along the way to what is literally the biggest moment of my life so far. It took a long time for me to work up the courage to finally back myself, and I am so glad I did. I will keep you updated on all the details of the new cafe and can't wait to share it all with you as the journey continues! 08.01.2022 "Everyone wants to love and be loved, to appreciate and be appreciated, and everyone wants to live his or her dreams". ~ Dr John F Martini. A few weeks ago I shared my story and told you about my goals in life - the major one being 'to have enough'. I spoke of enjoying a simple life, surrounded by those I love. Over the weekend, I realised I've been doing too much again. Those who know me personally will be rolling their eyes right now, because it's a common issue I have - I ...just can't sit still and struggle to say 'no' when asked to do something and just keep adding things to my plate until I reach the breaking point. Well that breaking point was reached on Saturday. I'm ok now but through it all, I've realised it's time I took a step back and re-assessed my priorities. I need to find my balance again as it's been lost for a while. I need a rest. And I need more time with my loved ones. Sometimes I feel sad that I don't have my dream cafe yet, but the reality is that I am working 2 (sometimes 3) jobs through the week, and I'm also studying at uni, so right now, I am lucky that my passion project (Morgan & Meg) can be paused as needed. So to that end, I'm going to close off Sourdough Subscriptions and Bake Club sales for a little while. I'll still be here sharing my stories, and we will still do pop-ups with Frenchie. I just need to scale back a bit and take a breath. To those who still have a current subscription, don't stress - nothing changes, your finish date is still the same. Thank you to everybody who has been here with us over the past few months cheering us on, helping us to survive through a tough time. Dusty and I are so appreciative of your trust and support! 08.01.2022 Exciting news! We have confirmed that we will be popping up once more at Diamond Waters Caravan Park in Dunbogan for the upcoming June Long Weekend. We are so happy to see that the park is able to re-open next week and hope that we will see some familiar faces for a freshly-brewed coffee and some cake (while being safe and adhering to social distancing guidelines, of course) Dusty & I are SO EXCITED to take Frenchie the food truck out again!

02.01.2022 These are just some of the things I make myself using my Thermomix. I love my Thermo for all the little things I can make from scratch like basic pantry staples. It saves me a lot of money and trips to the shops! For example I made the ghee today using organic butter. The butter cost me $7. The amount of ghee that the recipe yielded would have cost me over $20 to buy ready-made. All these products are also free from thickeners, artificial preservatives and other fake stuff.
