At 6am on the 25th April this year, all Australians are being encouraged to stand at the end of their driveway to commemorate the day.... 03.01.2022 For me this year, ANZAC day was different, yet significant. It was a day where the entire family got involved, at the end of our driveway as we lit up the dawn. But for my children, they got to hear the stories of my time in the Army, told once again amid a couple of veterans whose adventures and tales sometimes became that little bit more 'defined' during the course of the morning. So I'd like to thank my two daughters for the encouragement they 'applied' towards my application for the Department of Veterans' Affairs Veterans Pin and the Australian Defence Veterans Covenant.
