19.01.2022 ANOTHER PRACTICE- 30th of MAY After an absolutely awesome practice today, we are still sad it had to end! Next one is Saturday the 30th of May! We will aim to do one every week for now on the weekend! 3 sessions on the 3km track... 8:30-10:30 11-1 1:30-3:30 You can arrive half an hour before your session, give us a ring and I will meet you at the gate (today we found everyone was eager beavers, so we found everyone arrives around the same time, and stayed well apart!). No pit crew or spectators. If you would like to bring pit crew, you can ring us on Friday to see if there are any sessions with some vacancies, and we might be able to fit in a pit person (no guarrentee)! If interested, email [email protected] Only open to people who live within 150kms of 228 Old Stanthorpe Rd, Morgan Park, QLD (google map it if unsure). CAMS or AASA licence required! Social distancing required! Call or email us the day before to confirm! $60 per driver for each session, which are each two hours of track time!

19.01.2022 If you wish to attend Jim Selwood's wake, could you please register with the link. Thank you. https://forms.gle/rtWWuA1Q4JjHeH867

19.01.2022 After a few exciting practices, we are left wanting more! The next practice will be on Saturday the 13th of June. Due to the 20th of June being booked by a private hire, we are also running a practice on the 17th of June. If one of the days does not have many sign up for it, we may need to cancel one! We will let people know straight away if the day they have been booked for might not go ahead! General Information-... Each day consists of two sessions on Track K (3KM), an 8.30 to 11.30 session, and a 12 to 3 session. YOU MUST PRE-BOOK! Email us at [email protected] by Thursday, or call on 0437471433 (Monday to Friday (Friday afternoon at the absolute latest)). It’s $60 before the meeting (EFTPOS if absolutely necessary, I will find you in the pits), bank details to be sent after booking. We have heaps of space, and are allowing 1 pit person if needed (we have a statement of compliance). You need to let us know if you are bringing someone! AASA Clubman or Motorsport Australia L2S licence or above is required. A day licence can be obtained from AASA.com.au at any time ($35 for a day licence, $95 for an annual). You can gain access half an hour before your session. If you are in the morning session, we ask that you exit the premises by 12 at the latest. Gathering limits are strictly enforced, so someone may not come in until after some people have left (hopefully we will get an exemption soon, we have plenty of space to put people while they wait!). During the cross over in sessions, we may ask that you unload on the grass, and move on to your pit shed once the other group is gone. Finally, we will send you a disclaimer form as well, and on the day the gate will be locked. My number is on the front gate, so give us a call, and I will zip down and grab the disclaimer form and get you to fill in a quick COVID form (eg I have not travelled overseas in the past 14 days etc). Please let us know whether you would like the Saturday (13th of June) or Wednesday (17th of June) slots, and what session you would like to attend. We will need- your Motorsport Australia or AASA licence number and expiry, the driver’s name, and the car you will be running. There will be no practice on the 20th or 21st of June, however we are looking to start practice again the following weekend. The goal is to keep doing a practice once a week until everyone is all practiced out, and then we are looking to go to once a fortnight.

15.01.2022 It is with deep regret that I have to inform you all of the passing of one of our hardworking volunteers and club member. Greg Bell passed away last weekend from what is suspected to be a heart attack. A member since 2018, he has been a loyal volunteer and a formidable race driver. He was always volunteering to help in any way he could and was always happy and a great mate to have a laugh with. He will be missed very much. > > To all those who know him, his family and friend...s, from me personally and the members of the WDSCC committee, we send our deepest condolences at the loss of Greg. > > Another sad note, Denise Staude, wife of Peter Staude, a former WDSCC member, also passed away last weekend. We also send our condolences to those who knew Denise, a regular volunteer in our Morgan Park canteen in the past. > > Steve de Lissa > WDSCC > President See more

11.01.2022 Possible Practice 24th of May 2020 You may have heard that restrictions are easing, because of that we have just found out that we may run a small practice on the 24th of May (that’s this Sunday!). This is still dependent on us getting a permit, however we have been told it should be granted. If you live within 150KMs of Warwick (or know someone who does), or have an exemption as part of your car related business, you are eligible to apply for this practice. After the 12th of...Continue reading

01.01.2022 It is with sadness that we say our farewells to Mark Lamberth who passed away last week. Mark was a competitor in C series alongside his son Chris. He will be remembered for his keenness to recruit junior drivers into our Junior Driving Programme and for being a frequent volunteer at Morgan Park. Mark, along with his wife Diana, would often be found volunteering their time scrutineering vehicles at MPR, QR and V8 meetings. We extend our deepest sympathies to Diana and Chris and their family at this time.
