08.01.2022 Winestate Magazine has just awarded the Reprieve Shiraz 5 stars (equal top in category) in their McLaren Vale tasting. This is the second time they have given it 5 stars; does this make it a 10 star wine? I think it probably does. "Lovely palate layered with blue and black fruits and coffee and chocolate notes and strong smooth tannins". Says Winestate, and who could argue with that?... The Chardonnay was also equal top in its category with 4 stars, the Cab Sav got 4 stars too (maybe it came 2nd in its category?).
