22.01.2022 Our tulips have arrived along with some lovely indoor plants. Tulips are $15 a bunch and plants at marked prices

21.01.2022 Due to the coronavirus, we have far more parcels coming through the post office than at Christmas time. As we are only a tiny shop with limited space this is a difficult time for us trying to sort and store them all. So please wait for your parcel card in the mail so we can find your parcel easier, as your parcel could be in 5 different areas, and the card has exactly which area. Thanks for your cooperation

17.01.2022 Just clarifying that when you receive a msg from Australia Post about your parcels, that awaiting collection means it is at the post office, and delivered means, the mail contractors have them aboard and will deliver to your home address, or it's in your pidgeon hole at the shop. Also please check dates on your parcel slips, as the mail contractors are sometimes a day behind in delivering them, and you have already picked these parcels up the day before.

16.01.2022 Due to the high volume of parcels coming through the Post Office because of the coronavirus, your parcels will not be able to be picked up until mid day. Sorry for any inconvenience

14.01.2022 Dear valued customer Just a note regarding our post office. Coming into a busy Christmas period, we are getting up to 3 deliveries of parcels PER DAY. This is just a reminder to please always check emails regarding your parcels before coming into the store to collect them, this will save staff looking for a parcel, which might not be at the store. A parcel slip is also REQUIRED to help with locating your parcel, which could be in 5 different areas. We will not be handing ou...t parcels unless you give us a slip, because after picking up a parcel without a slip, confusion occurs when you receive your slip the following day for a parcel that’s already been picked up. Every day, staff are sent looking for parcels when they have either been picked up or delivered, so please always remember to check before coming in, as its not only wasting our time, but wasting yours. If the email states AWAITING COLLECTION, then it is ready for collection at the store. If however, the email states DELIVERED, then it means that the mail contractors have the parcel ready to deliver to your mailbox. We ask that you please try and collect your parcels within post office hours, which are 9-5. We understand that working long hours might restrict you from being able to pick up your parcels within our opening hours, however, please keep your eyes peeled for a post on the Facebook page or a note on the shop window regarding opening later 2 nights a week for those of you who cannot make it into the shop between the hours of 9-5. We wish you all a safe and merry Christmas and thank you for your ongoing support throughout a crazy year. The team at the Moriac General Store.

05.01.2022 Things are still quite busy with lots of parcels coming in and out of our facility. Please advise the recipients of any parcels you have sent that they will take some time to arrive and they probably won't be abled to be tacked for the first few days after being lodge here. THEY ARE NOT LOST I have sent 2 parcels off, which usually take 2 days to arrive (1 to Bendigo, 1 to the Central Coast) but as you can see, both are still in transit. So please be patient, as you're not the only person sending and waiting for parcel

03.01.2022 Due to the coronavirus, our cafe will be closed for sit down meals, but you are still able to have take aways. So coffee, hambugers, chicken schnitzels, sausage rolls and pies are all still available, so you can still call in for all your favorites.

02.01.2022 A saddle has arrived with no name or address. If you are missing a saddle, ( not the one in the picture) please come up and see us
