18.01.2022 The Mothers Day stalls are up and running at both our home courts and in at Central courts. Stop by and grab a fantastic gift for Mum (or yourself!) and help support the mission projects if the Uniting Church.

16.01.2022 Please see some slight adjustments below to the gathering points for tonight to help get teams in quicker, especially if they have to go to the furthest courts.

15.01.2022 Please see important announcement regarding netball for the next two weeks.

13.01.2022 Please observe the changes that SAUCNA have been permitted to allow to improve safety of all players, officials and parents.

12.01.2022 Don't forget the Sunday Session this weekend. Good opportunity to meet some new people and watch the football, while raising money for Morialta.

09.01.2022 Happy New Year to you all and welcome back to the resumption of the summer season. This email contains very important information about SAUCNA’s COVID Management Plan and changes that SA Health have directed the Board to undertake. The continuation of our summer season, and very likely our winter one too, depends on full compliance with these updates. The Board asks that you relay the following information to your respective clubs. The information is contained within SAUCNA’s... amended COVID Management Plan which was approved by SA Health on 12/1/21. 1. Attendance at the courts now requires check-in via an approved QR code. Posters will be displayed at multiple locations throughout the court precinct, including: a. The main entry ‘gate’ from the main car parking area. b. At each of the existing 4 pre-game assembly points. c. On the toilet doors. d. At the canteen. e. At the disinfectant table outside the clubrooms. f. Carried by the COVID Marshals on duty. 2. As a back-up, the existing manual system of recording all attendees’ name, mobile number and/or email address will remain in place. 3. The existing manual sheet must still be filled out fully and correctly as per the first half of the season and submitted on the night with your scorecard. Failure to fully complete the sheet and/or submit it will result in a forfeit, just as it has since the start of the summer season. 4. For the avoidance of doubt, all attendees’ details must be entered on the manual sheet even if the QR code check-in system has been used. The Board recognises this is double-handling but it’s the only way we can satisfy SA Health that everyone in attendance is recorded as being there for the purpose of contact tracing. 5. Marshals will be roaming and spot-checking that attendees with smart phones have checked in. We ask that your club members assist the Marshals in their duties. 6. For the very junior grades the manual system also enables recording of attendees who don’t yet have a smart phone. Indeed, there may be the odd person here and there who doesn’t have a smart phone for one reason or another. 7. The QR code is provided below for anyone who would like to keep a printed copy to use for check in. The Board is currently planning for the winter season and how the current COVID-19 Emergency Management Direction is likely to impact that. We will of course keep everyone updated, but we strongly believe the QR code system will be used for winter as well. Thanks, in anticipation, SAUCNA Board

03.01.2022 Dear Morialta Community Following Friday’s State Government announcement, we are pleased to hear that community sport is set to return on Tuesday 1 December. Whilst sport fixtures and training, both indoor and outdoor, will be able to resume from this date they will still need to meet all government guidelines. The SAUCNA Board is waiting for the updated Direction to be issued to determine if there are any additional requirements relating to sport.... We are all anxious and excited about the possibility of playing again, and we would like to commend our club community for their patience and adaptability in these unique circumstances. Announcements regarding any changed playing and spectating conditions may be provided at short notice this week, so please be prepared for whatever the changes may be. At this stage we would ask all officials, umpires, players and parents to prepare for return to matches. As soon as SAUCNA confirm when this will be and any changes to conditions, we will pass this information on to the community. Please monitor the Morialta and SAUCNA Facebook pages for the latest updated information. When we do return, everyone needs to make sure that they comply with the following as a minimum: - Maintain physical distancing or wear a face mask - Contact tracing documentation must be completed - If you are unwell - do not attend Any changes to conditions will be communicated promptly and we continue to appreciate your patience and understanding. We will let you know as soon as we do. Kind regards Jude Johnson MUNC Chairperson If you have any questions about the above details, please contact us through the club email address. [email protected]

03.01.2022 Hot Weather Conditions With a hot day forecast today, we thought it would be prudent to remind you all of SAUCNA's summer Hot Weather Policy. Matches for the night will be cancelled if the temperature is deemed that it will be too hot to play by the SAUCNA Board. It will be announced on both the SAUCNA Facebook page and SAUCNA website by no later than 4.30pm on the day of the matches... The onus is on each club and each team to be aware of this policy and to watch for such an announcement. To assist in this, both the SAUCNA website and Facebook links are provided below: http://www.saucna.net/ https://www.facebook.com/SAUCNA Please note that if the Hot Weather Conditions policy is invoked and matches are cancelled, no points will be awarded for that round of matches.
