18.01.2022 Today, we held the first heat of round one Singles Consistency Championships. Well done to all ladies who played today. It was a great day of competition, and a pleasure to watch. The winners today were Dara Hughes, Margaret Powell, Jann Mc Carthy and Anne Hitchin. 15.01.2022 Today some of our ladies enjoyed a lovely gala day at Dora Creek, together with many other clubs. Gina, Rose, Jan and Terrie played together, whilst Maureen, Jann, Beryl, Anne played in composite teams. We all had a great day, and congratulations to Jann and Dora Creek coming away as overall winners Lovely lunch, and a friendly fun day was had by all.

15.01.2022 We enjoyed another fantastic mixed bowls today (in the cool weather) on Number 2 green, followed by a BBQ lunch. Everyone had a great time $50 each for winners, $25 for runners up. Lots of bottles of wine and chocolates, for other prizes. Hopefully we will be back on number 1 green in a couple of weeks. Good luck to our pennants players, I am sure you will do us proud.

13.01.2022 We are saddened to Announce the Funeral for long time RSL sub-Branch member Robert Keith Baker. Location: Lake Macquarie Memorial Park,Ryhope. Date/time: Wednes...day 27th March, 1PM. Dress: Appropriate attire with medals. They went with songs to the battle, they were young, Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow. They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted, They fell with their faces to the foe. They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them. Lest we Forget.

10.01.2022 Another fantastic day at Morisset. Teams from Wangi Wangi, Rathmines, Halakulani and Kurri Kurri joined us to play Triples Championships for the Pat Heaton Shield. Following the game, bowlers enjoyed a wonderful BBQ lunch and dessert. A huge thank you to Margaret H, Ruby and Beryl for lunch, and thank you Brian for cooking the sausages to perfection Well done to Kurri Kurri for being runners up. Congratulations to Lette, Rose and Jann from Morisset who won the shield.

10.01.2022 The ladies spoiled the men today with a very special luncheon- everyone enjoyed the lovely chicken salad and delectable slices - we were unable to play outside so we all enjoyed a game of carpet bowls- lots of fun! We cannot complain about the weather it was so good to have some rain.
