22.01.2022 Hi everyone. With the COVID-19 situation continuing, we are escalating our social distancing protocols to ensure that our staff and clients remain safe and healthy, and we are able to continue to offer great service to your pets. As such, we ask that you follow these instructions: 1. Post surgical re-checks - please call the clinic with regards to these, even if you have an appointment already booked. Where possible we will get you to either send us a photo of the wound, or a...rrange an online conference free of charge to asses your pet. 2. Puppy Pre-school has been postponed until further notice 3. If you have an appointment booked, please stay in your car with your pets and call when you have arrived. When we are ready, a staff member will come out to your car and collect your pet. The vet and nurse will then conduct the consultation in the clinic, with you on the phone. You can then either pay over the phone with your card, or we can bring our portable EFTPOS machine out to you. Wherever possible we discourage payment with cash. 4. For surgical admissions, do the same. Call when you arrive and a staff member will come to the car, go through the surgical admission details with you, and take your pet from the car. The same will happen when they go home. 5. If you need food, or medications, please call the clinic beforehand, and pay for the items over the phone. We will then get them ready for you. When you arrive call us to let us know and we will bring them out to you. 6. Wherever possible we will not accept cash payments. 7. Wherever possible we strongly encourage you to utilise our telemedicine facility. If you visit our website at morissetvethospital.com.au there are links to follow and the process is very simple. You can do it on your computer, smartphone, or tablet. It will be suitable for lumps, wound evaluations, dental checks, skin and ear issues in some instances, and general health checks/concerns. Please call us if you are unsure if it would be appropriate. Thanks everyone, hopefully this will all be over soon!

16.01.2022 We understand that euthanasia is a very emotional and difficult time for our clients, so it is a great relief to us that restrictions have eased enough that we can now welcome you in to the clinic for these visits. We are still operating contactless for other visits at this stage, but can allow 2 people per pet inside for euthanasias, so that you can have peace and privacy while saying goodbye to your beloved pets.

12.01.2022 ONLINE VET CONSULTATIONS now available at Morisset vet hospital $45. Due to the recent issues surrounding COVID-19 we have decided to temporarily make online video chat consultations available to local pet owners. Our preference is still to see you in person with your pet but believe this is the best option where it is not possible. Please click on the link below for more information. www.morissetvethospital.com.au/videochat-online-consultation

10.01.2022 Hi everyone, with the reduction of COVID-19 cases in Australia, and the easing of restrictions, we are pleased to be able to welcome clients back into the clinic as of tomorrow, Monday 1st June. There are still some rules associated with this, so please observe the following: 1. Make sure to call and book an appointment before arriving at the clinic. 2. Please DO NOT come to the clinic if you are in anyway unwell. 3. Only ONE client per pet will be allowed into the clinic.... 4. Please call on arrival to the clinic, so we can advise whether you can enter yet. 5. Before entering the clinic and consult rooms, and before and after payment, please use the hand sanitiser provided. 6. When in the clinic, please sit on allocated seats only, and respect any floor tape and barriers in place. 7. Please be mindful of the 1.5m social distancing rules at all times. 8. Please read all signage on the walls and doors and follow instructions carefully. 8. Please follow the directions of our staff at all times. We thank you all for being patient while we adjust to the new routine. Consults may go overtime, or we may get delays through the day as we juggle all our clients, so we appreciate your patience and understanding if you have a longer than usual wait time. See more

05.01.2022 In this time of uncertainty and risk with regards to COVID-19, can we ask clients to observe the following: 1. Please don’t come in if you have any signs of illness - fever, cough, respiratory signs. Please send another family member or friend if possible. If not, call us first, we may be able to set up a telemedicine facility. 2. Please only bring one person per pet in to the clinic, to limit social contact.... 3. If you have animals boarding with us, and have been overseas recently - please either extend their stay for those that have to self isolate for 14 days (anyone arriving to Australia from overseas as of today), or have a family member/friend that hasn’t been overseas collect the animal for you. 4. Anyone that does have to self isolate, that has a sick animal, should call first. We will try and set up telemedicine facilities to help you, and may be able to mail or courier medications to you if needed. We will do our absolute best to help you and your animals, and hopefully we can get on top of this virus quickly, and life will return to normal very soon! Stay safe everyone xxx

02.01.2022 It is fantastic news for you and your pets that the Australian Government has declared Veterinary Hospitals to be essential services. That means that we can remain open for business as (almost!) normal, to look after your pets needs, for the duration of this pandemic. We will continue to follow our zero contact and enhanced hygiene protocols, which means that we have no clients in the clinic, and all contact is via phone or email. We collect your pets from your car and bring... them back to you. This is to ensure your safety, as well as our staff's safety so that we can continue to provide full services during this pandemic. Our consultation and vaccination fees remain the same, and we will continue to provide affordable desexings, dentals and our full range of other veterinary services. For a full list of the changes we have put in place to ensure the safety of you, your pets and our staff, please check our posts below.
