24.01.2022 Ladies and Gentlemen, cya there at 4:30pm.

21.01.2022 MILESTONE It’s that time again, with plenty of fantastic achievements being reached by our loyal members. This week, we recognise Phillip James Singh as he celebrates his 100th game for Morley this weekend. Phil has shown extraordinary growth in his time at the club. He began his journey in the 2nd grade as a bowling allrounder at the age of 18, now finding himself at the helm at the age of 24 as the captain of our top grade, two-time winner of the Dave Lynn Club Champions...hip Medal, including the Anthony John Stanley MVP Award as well. He has dedicated his time off the field as a committee member, demonstrating leadership which has provided an excellent example for the future of the club. Well done Phil, enjoy this weekend and let's get the win! #celebrating25years

18.01.2022 We wish to proudly announce that we are joining arms with Aboriginal Artwork Middle Stump Initiative (AAMSI) this season. AAMSI acknowledges the traditional custodians of Perth Western Australia, the Noongar Aboriginal peoples, past, present and future. This 'MIDDLE STUMP' being of Aboriginal Artwork Design would represent the 'First People of this Country - the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander People. AAMSI is a sincere and authentic attempt towards: Reconciliation proces...ses to further recognise Aboriginal people. The three main drivers for AAMSI are: 1. To support Reconciliation processes in our country 2. To be used as a platform that will entice Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children to take up Cricket as a Sport of choice The Middle Stump was chosen as it reflects Aboriginal peoples as the first Australians, whenever the Middle Stump is banged into the pitch, in affect, whoever does this act, will be performing an Acknowledgement to Country.

18.01.2022 MILESTONE: As if we didn't already have enough reasons to celebrate this weekend, Jeremy Rishani has given us another 100 reasons why, as he brings up the ton with games played for Morley this weekend. As someone who started his cricketing career late in life, no doubt thanks to his brother-in-law Dylan Kularatne, Jeremy has made an impression on the MCC that will stand the test of time. Contributing on the field in some big ways by being part of the exclusive 'hat-trick clu...b' which he enjoys to remind everyone on a regular basis, with his best figures at 6-13 off 7 overs and a century with the bat under his belt, it is an impressive resume. Astoundingly, this includes his off-field contribution through twice serving as the Club Treasurer, in a time when this role desperately needed support. He is a loveable larrikin, and he is ours. Cheers and congratulations Jezza, good luck this weekend!

03.01.2022 THAT’S ALL FOLKS Congrats to both F and I grade for bringing it home over the weekend, in the two-day grand finals. It’s been a long journey for most, in particular for our F grade who were in a strong position last season to win the lot, prior to Covid restrictions. That makes it 2 minor premierships, 2 one-day premierships and 2 two-day premierships. Not a bad way to finish off the season.... #celebrating25years
