23.01.2022 ** ALZHEIMER’S WA WALK TO REMEMBER 2019 ** The Rotary Club of Morley members and volunteers cooked for the walkers and staff at the Alzheimer’s Walk on Sunday, 3 November 2019 at Perry Lakes Reserve, Floreat. It was our pleasure to assist Alzheimer’s WA.
21.01.2022 ** REMINISCING OF EXCHANGE STUDENTS ** We will pull through the tough times we are currently having. We are in a great country, and being in Western Australia makes it even better. Think back and remember the past incoming and outgoing Exchange Students Rotary Club of Morley have sponsored, and remember the great times shared with them. Memories will come back to you and you will have a smile on your face.... What better time to think of them overseas and here in Australia, and wish them and their families all the best during the COVID-19.

10.01.2022 ** WESTERN AUSTRALIA DAY ** Wishing you a wonderful Western Australia Day on Monday, 1st June 2020. It is a day to celebrate all Western Australians, recognising our Aboriginal history, early European settlers and the many from all over the world who have made, and continue to make, Western Australia their home.... WA Day commemorates the foundation of the Swan River Colony near Perth by European settlers in 1829. It was previously known as Foundation Day but the name was changed in April 2012 to recognise the much longer history of the Aboriginal people of the land. WA was settled as a free colony, unlike some other parts of Australia like New South Wales and Port Arthur. It was the only British colony in Australia established with land grants to settlers. The settlers were given land in proportion to the quantity of people and goods they brought to the colony and were only given the full title to their land when it had been improved enough to be considered established and sustaining. We all want to celebrate the beautiful State we live in, but we must put public health first. Due to COVID -19. Stay safe.
08.01.2022 ** HYDE PARK FAIR MARCH 2020 ** The Rotary Club of Morley assisted with a sausage sizzle tent at the Rotary Club of North Perth Hyde Park Fair, held on Sunday, 1 March and Monday, 2 March 2020. A fantastic event, brilliant weather and a great day. The proceeds from the sausage sizzle have gone to the charities that the Rotary Club of North Perth support.
07.01.2022 ** 100 HEART SURGERIES ** The Rotary Club of Morley in partnership with the Rotary Club of Bangalore India to commemorate the centenary of Rotary in Australia, have launched an International Project to perform 100 heart surgeries free of charge for needy people in rural India. This is an initial commitment with Grants from District 9455, Rotary International and fundraising from Rotary Clubs of Morley, Heirisson and North Perth.... 05.01.2022 ** New meeting venue, effective from Monday, 7th September 2020 ** Bedford Bowling Club 145 Grand Promenade Corner of Catherine Street... Bedford WA We continue to meet on Monday nights (except when it’s a public holiday) at 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.
04.01.2022 ** CHRISTMAS FISH NIGHT ** The annual Christmas Fish night was enjoyed by Members, Partners and friends of Rotary on Monday, 25th November 2019. A great evening was had by all, and thanks to those that organised the evening.... Wishing everyone and their families are merry Christmas and a safe, happy and healthy 2020.
