23.01.2022 Funeral Price Examples Most of our bereaved clients prefer to plan a unique and meaningful farewell for their loved one, so we are able to tailor the service to suit their special needs and requests. In the interests of reliable comparisons, we offer price examples for a broad range of services to suit all budgets. We wish to emphasise that we do not charge for after hours transfers within a 50km radius of our funeral home.... 10.01.2022 Our approach to COVID-19 Updated 30th October The health and wellbeing of our staff and our clients is of high importance to Morleys Funerals.... It’s clear that the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is global, and although we see no reason to panic, it’s important that we take measures to mitigate the spread of the virus to ensure the safety of our communities, particularly the elderly and immunocompromised. We are monitoring the situation daily through the Australian Funeral Directors Association (AFDA) and will continue to implement their recommendations as they come to hand. The following summarises the precautions Morleys are taking in response to COVID-19, and doing all we can to provide a clean and safe environment for our staff and clients: We will encourage the use of our Live Stream options at no additional costs where large numbers of mourners are anticipated. Where appropriate, and with our client families permission, we will include reference to Live Streaming in the published funeral notice. As of 15th June - We will follow the advice of the government and not conduct funerals where gatherings exceed 100 persons indoors or outdoors. 2 Funeral staff and 1 Celebrant are not included in these numbers. Contact details of attendees will be kept on record for the required period of time. The 4m2 rule still applies to this limit in large rooms over 50m2. In smaller rooms the 2m2 rule applies. We will encourage mourners to avoid handshakes, hugging and kissing as a form of physical condolence. We will monitor our staff and if they are showing symptoms of the virus, they will be asked to self-isolate and to be tested. Hand sanitiser will be available throughout our premises and on all funerals (specifically at condolence register tables for use after each pen use). Bathrooms will continue to be stocked with hand wash/soap and disposable hand towel. In our office, all door handles, phones, reception desks, water filters and common areas will be wiped with sanitisers regularly throughout the day. When meeting with a family a minimum number of people will be in attendance and they will maintain social distancing. Phone or Video Conferencing can be set up with other family members. We continue to provide our customers with great service in the weeks and months ahead. If you have any questions or would like to discuss how the situation might affect your specific funeral being held with Morleys, please contact our office on (07) 47794744 so we can assist further.
