24.01.2022 The Mornington Peninsula Shire is seeking your feedback on their draft Cycling Strategy (see links attached). One of our greatest hurdles to overcome when encouraging participation in our Junior Program, Novice Racing, Club Racing, Social rides, Female participation etc. is providing a safe environment. We also miss having a home ‘base’, a place to watch racing, meet and socialise and to store our equipment. Whilst it may be a long term dream, or a wish for Santa’s stocking perhaps. We think a dedicated Criterium Circuit (like Casey Fields) would offer all user groups a fabulous facility on the Peninsula. We also encourage more dedicated cycle lanes, separation from other road users and more connected trails. This is your chance to have a say too. please follow the links.....

16.01.2022 Yep, there’s some rain on the horizon, but we’re planning to race tonight - so cross your fingers! Head down, even if the rain comes, we’ll be having some Xmas drinks at TwoBays Brewery. Our AGM will also follow, feel free to hang around and show your support for our club. Cheers, see you all soon. Get ready to tighten your shoes and empty your bidons!

14.01.2022 With restrictions easing and the likelyhood of further changes later in November we are in full swing organising our racing up until Christmas! This is obviously MEGA exciting. We have our Club Road Champs on 29th November and 3 crits in Dromana in December. Please look out for further updates and event invitiations. In the meantime if you need to renew your membership there is a link below. Prices are less than previously and there is a 12 month payment plan option. 09.01.2022 Update from Cycling Victoria and what it means for MCC: - Saturday Bunch can return from Saturday July 18th - We are planning our first race for Casey Fields Saturday 15th August. (Rest of the racing calendar to follow - but we have pencilled in Casey Fields + 3 Road Races and 2 Crits prior to Christmas! Keep riding and stay safe!

04.01.2022 **Attention Members** Notice is given for the MCC AGM on Wednesday 16th December 7pm and will be held virtually (link to attend will be provided later). We are seeking interest from people wanting to participate and help with the running of our club. We have a beautiful cycling club and community and REQUIRE your help to continue to foster this moving forward. If you think you can assist, the time requirement is minimal and we'd love to hear from you. Please contact Rhys on 0467 769 879 or via messenger. We need to here from you before 5pm Friday 11th December. Otherwise we'd like to see a big turnout to our AGM, it is open to all financial members, you can do it from home on your PC or device, come along and contribute to our wonderful club.
