The event is played over three rounds of Stroke and Aleisha's three round total of 224 was 9 shots better than joint runners up Gill Lawrence and Sue Hodgson. 11.01.2022 Tuesday was the 2nd round of the 54 hole Ladies Club Championships. This is the day where the leaders make their move and set themselves up for the final round next Tuesday. Lorraine Theofanis did just that with a sensational round of 79 gross. Not only did this give her a four shot lead from Sue Evans and five ahead of Abby Coombes with 18 holes to play but she also posted a new course record! ... Starting on the back nine she went to the turn in an incredible level par 37! She held it together really well on the back nine and even a 7 on the 2nd hole didn't stop her from coming back in 42. Well done Lorraine a fantastic round in tricky conditions. @ Mornington Golf Club

09.01.2022 Congratulations to Abby Coombes and Rob Cooper on winning the 2020 Mixed Foursomes Championships! On a warm, calm day that promised rain that never came Abby and Rob managed to oust last years winners June Tickell and Brad Harris by 1 shot to lift the prestigious Preston Trophy. In the Nett event Pauline Burton and Michael Harrison edged our Jane and Graeme Littlejohn with Nett 70 on a countback to lift the Gilby Cup.... Well done to all pairs who took part today, it is fantastic to see these events returning and everyone enjoying themselves after what has been such a trying year!

In the Under 14 Boys Net event Luke came runner up, losing out to the winner on a countback. In a field full of promising junior golfers from a host of Clubs Luke did an outstanding job representing MGC.... Well done Luke, great achievement!
