23.01.2022 It has been bought to our attention by Maitland Police inviting you to line the streets for Michael to pay your respects would be considered holding or encouraging a public gathering. Which is against COVID 19 guidelines. Being in the health industry we completely respect these guidelines. This post is to advise that by no means do we encourage a public gathering of any kind.... Swan Street however is a public thoroughfare and we cannot tell you not to use the street on this day either. Again we reiterate we do not encourage a public gathering to take place in association with Michaels Memorial Service. As bringing Michael past his beloved Pharmacy is not against the guidelines we will still be doing this for him. Thank you again for all your love and support

22.01.2022 Dear friends & our beautiful Morpeth Community. Thank you so much for your incredible support over the past few weeks, in particular on Monday as we farewelled our much loved Michael. Swan St was a testament to the impact Michael had and the connection he shared with our beautiful community. It was truly overwhelming to see.... A very special thank you to Sharon Haywood who made hundreds of the coloured hearts we saw along Swan Street. What a beautiful gesture, adding a sea of colour to a dark day. We would also would like to thank you for the overwhelming support on the GO FUND ME page for Ethan & Hunter, the boys have some very special things in mind to remember their Dad using these funds, and all going well we also intend to use the funds for a memorial in Morpeth that our community can share. We are planning on having these back Thursday for collection or delivery. 13.01.2022 Our beloved Michael will be farewelled from St James Anglican Church Morpeth on Monday 31.08.2020. We are very sensitive to the fact that Michael was a much loved member of the local community, this has been evident in your incredible support and the outpouring of grief from the community and his customers during this diffiuclt time. As much as we would love to welcome you all to the service to pay your respects to Michael, due to COVID 19 restrictions we have had to limit th...e number to 50 close family & friends. We do very much however, wish for you to be able to be included in celebrating Michaels life. We invite all of you, who wish to pay your respects to Michael to line Swan Street at approxiamately 12 midday as we will be bringing Michael for a his final farewell a lap of honour for a true champion past his beloved pharmacy, a place where he spent most of his time doing what he did best, caring for his customers. (Please respect Social Distancing) The lap of honour will begin at the corner of the Commercial Hotel and will proceed along Swan Street. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to Michaels memoriam. All funds donated to the Memoriam will be given to Ethan & Hunter. In doing so we want the boys to be able to buy something or perhaps take a holiday in memory of their Dad, a tradition they could continue each year to a special place to create new memories or maybe just something to keep. Our locum Pharmacist Carmel & new dispense tech Christie will be on site to assist. Belinda will also be there but only for a few hours. Tomorrow we will have SOME webster packs to hand out.
