25.01.2022 Each year, on the 11 of November at 11am- the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month- we pause to remember those who have served, died and suffered in all wars and peace keeping operations. The Upper Primary have been working on Remembrance Day Poetry and have done an outstanding job. You can read the poetry below.

19.01.2022 Senior Tops 2021 The current year 5 & 6 students who will be here next year have taken home senior top notes. These need to be returned with deposits paid by Monday the 16th of November before the order is sent off to the supplier. Tops are available to try on for sizing in the front office.

19.01.2022 The planning for 2021 class structures will begin soon. Parents have the option of providing input into our class placement process, but we do request that these are made in writing. Request forms can be collected from the front office. All requests need to be returned by the 6th of November.

18.01.2022 Kindy Science Some of the students from Rm 14, 15 and 17 are visiting Morphett Vale East Kindy and the Emu Childcare Centre on Tuesdays to share their science learning. They are learning to ask questions, work as a team as well as helping to develop the younger students thinking and science observation skills. They are developing these young minds by doing some activities with surface tension and chromatography!

The structure of classes depends on the number of enrolments in each year level. It is very important that we are told of any students who may be leaving at the end of the year, and any families who may enrol for 2021. Please contact the front office on 8382 4311.

06.01.2022 A ‘Kiss and Drop’ zone is provided out the front of the school on Monarch St. It is an expectation that drivers: Remain in their vehicle Continue to move forward, along the drop-off zone, at all times, as space becomes available when vehicles exit the zone Stay in sequence Don’t cut in the queue... Child Safety Please ensure children get in or out of the vehicle on the kerb side. The back seat is the safest seat for children to travel in, regardless of the make of vehicle. No U-turns Please do not do u turns in busy school zones. They are dangerous and put children at risk. And please do not park on full yellow lines. City of Onkaparinga Council monitors the school parking and kiss and drop areas regularly, ensuring the safety for our students and issuing parking infringement notices when necessary. See more

03.01.2022 Congratulations to Banksia who won Sports Day this year! It ended up being a beautiful day with the sun shining down us! Thanks to everyone who helped out with the Colour Run, hope the colours were easy to get out of your clothes!
