13.01.2022 To wrap up our reconnaissance mission the boys played the Ballarat Golf Course. All were very impressed by the linksy layout and its excellent condition. Jeff Prestridge played well for 34 points as did the well handicapped Rob Steele on 32. Patrick Buckley was a bit disappointing with 23 but the real star was Al Bartlett with 42.

12.01.2022 Today we visited the Tony Cashmore designed RACV Goldfields Resort. It looks like a fun course a bit reminiscent of Kooralbyn or Bonville. Ideal for the ambrose or Texas Scramble. Wayne Bozier had his first hole in one here on the 17th earlier in the week.
