25.01.2022 Hmmmmm, RC PORN.

24.01.2022 Hey all, just another thing to help minimise issues. Can we all please take abit of care for our canteen staff and minimise All Cash transactions. We have tap and chip card payments available with no cost to you. So please be sensible. It's 2020 let's try and do no cash.

23.01.2022 Hi to all members and racers of MORRCC and Victoria The past weekend saw the running of the Australian nationals rd 1, even under the strange circumstances it was a great and successful event. Some have questioned the running of the event, but with direct and constant communication with brimbank council, Victoria HEALTH and The AUSTRALIA HEALTH DEPT we got through, legally, for an overall outcome. ... At some stages with media and social reports the event was nearly cancelled, several times before and during the nationals, but with MORRCC, RCRA, and all appropriate Authorities coming together it was done and dusted. MORRCC would like to also apologise to those effected by LOOP GATE, the pipes where moved in further the night before event and tested to make sure 2019 did not repeat, unfortunately it did, this we apologise for, for some stage reason these loop problems struck on the second day of events, whether it be moisture or a cracked wire is beyond us, SO we are going to replace the loop even though a test later revealed the strongest loop readings our race director has seen in his Time using the programme. Also, myself as President and the MORRCC committee would like to thank all participant's for there understanding during the event, thank you and we definitely hope to see you again at a MORRCC event. Now to another point. With all that is going on accross Australia and world wide, MORRCC is following and closing down until further notice. As things change so will RC racing at MORRCC and other venues a cross Australia. So to eliviate RC restlessness now would be the time to rebuild, most of your suppliers are still trading, mostly online, so don't forget them as without them, OR TRACKS, we will not survive in this sport. So support your locals, whether it be PLAIG BEARINGS, MAXIMA FUELS, NITO X FUELS BARMAH RC HOBBIES, SPEEDIE RC, CAMPBELL TOWN HOBBIES who eva, even you RC painters, freshen up your ride while the times available. Stay safe and be well, think logically not in frustration, there is more coming so be strong for your families and friends, call if you are worried about anyone, a quick call, can mean lots, to a lot people. Regards Will ( DIRTMONKEY ) MORRCC President. Hoping to see you all sooner than later.

21.01.2022 Well the nationals week is upon us. Just to reiterate we will be going ahead with the event. In regards to the covid issues across the globe, our facility is in open air. And constant close proximity is easily avoidable. I do advise that you take your normal precautions, clean your hands, limit touching overs. And if you do have a cough make sure you cover your mouth. As for other ever things.... Tables and chairs will be priorities to interstate travellers. Can all Victoria drivers please bring with you a table and chair to pit with. As for pitting area, we will try and get everyone in the same area. We may split these areas up a little bit to limit close proximity for prolonged times. Canteen stock may be an issue for 4 days of food given the stupidity of the nation's people. So watch this space for the menu and any information, yes our chef is flying in Wednesday so expect similar to last year and possibly some set meals for lunch. Any questions please don't hesitate to message the page directly. We receive alot of messages at this time before events, do not message committee members directly. Message the page so we can triage your enquires and get you the right answers promptly. Regards Dan

21.01.2022 Sorry to inform you guys that tomorrow and sundays racing has been canned. The rain has turned track into mud pit, with no chance of drying. MORRCC

05.01.2022 Well the 60ml of rain that MORRCC received last week set us back at least two days, having to redo alot of works with the bobcat. But dedicated workers and long days have helped us gain some ground back. Majority of the track is complete and has been rolled several times. I ask anyone available to come down for a few hours tomorrow please do, we need many hands to help finish the smaller works and start the repipeing. As for next weekend. Possible rain Friday Saturday but we ...hope to have all the pipes on Saturday and a test day on the Sunday available to all Victorian members of MORRCC. Send us a message with any questions.

03.01.2022 Good Morning, As the weather is being very unpredictable today, with rain not forecast until later this evening, and it is raining now, I have canned tonight's practice, with the moisture created today, if we drive on it tonight, it could and may destroy parts of track, I for one don't want this at all. So for tonight, just sigh and prep for RACING AT MORRCC SUNDAY GATES OPEN AT 8am... See you there Prez See more

03.01.2022 PREZ UPDATE. With what rain we got last night, the rain this morning, and the rain coming at 11am, see pic, I have cancelled today. We had hundreds of laps done in the last 2 days, the groove on track was over a meter wide, and NO DUST. Track, infact is way better than I/we, first thought.... With the track suffering badly, from COVID related issues and no luv, all the hard work from members and non members, has paid off big time, to the point of even little to no tyre wear, track was smooth and fun to drive. I must and I urge you too when you see them, personally thank all who helped rebuild our world class track, main people to thank is Damien and Tommy, there dedication to track prep was above all else so we could open asap, also, Karl, not a member a newby to RC, put in hrs of his time and had not even turned a wheel on his car, Damien's brother, sorry forgot his name, Damien can pipe in here ......., not a member and new to RC too, Henry also always willing to help, Anth and Cam Zammit, again there when push comes to shove, Ash peeler through is FIREMAN arms, to shovel and rake. And if you where there and I have not mentioned you in this I apologise, so thank you too. THANKS GUYS WITHOUT YOU ALL, IT WOULD OF NOT HAPPENED IN THE TIME FRAME IT DID. OH and a Presidents thanks to all the wives and girlfriends of drivers, that keep marshalling for there blokes and others when they had moments of lapsed concentration and landed on there lids THANKS LADIES not an easy job on practice days. So, for today, put your cars back in shed, wipe away the disappointment, so the misses doesn't see, and wait for an update on the next run at MORRCC inc Cheers and thanks to all that showed over the past weekend. MORRCC President See you all soon
