22.01.2022 Just home from another wonderful Northern Victorian Show Jumping Club show. This was the last show l did before lock down so it was only fitting to be back there as the first show post lock down. Morrfield Bella Blue and CP Richard were supported on this trip by the wonderful Black Jack. All horses came home with some ribbons, a couple of dollar bucks and some fantastic bales of lucern. Thank you NVSJC for a wonderful show, Mum & Dad and Russell for giving me Dickie to ride.

13.01.2022 We had a great weekend away at Mt. Gambier 8 horses, 3 trucks and the kids in tow. A couple of ribbons for each of the horses and no one fell off. We even did some sightseeing

12.01.2022 The newest addition to the family and the smallest (with maybe the biggest personality) the amazing Fame. Laurel and Fame are really hitting it off now and mummy is being dragged back to the stables most days to take them for a ride, which would be great but mummy is scared of long grass . So we are exploring the garden, paddocks and not the bush.

08.01.2022 Yesterday l was told of the passing of Raymond K. Ray came to us via Denis Crane after being started by Damien Kiss. As he was 17.1hh he was obviously purchased by my parents for Russell to ride. Well Russ and Raymond didn't get along too well so Yvonne asked if l would take him. At the time l had just started a new job, was finishing university and had my horses on agistment while l juggle life so l need a new 17.1hh horse like a hole in the head, especially one who bucked a... little, was sensitive and green. Any how Raymond arrived and we had a bit of a rocky start, he bucked me off at our second show together! As l picked myself up, l walked over to Ray, looked him in the eye and very clearly stated that l was his last chance in this world and he might want to rethink his actions. Well Ray was not a very intelligent horse, but l 100% believe he completely understood what l was on about and what dog food is made up of. After that point of Ray really never put a foot wrong. We jumped up to a 1.40m and we canter around Melbourne Three Day. We had the best of times together and l was very proud of what he became. I had a change of direction and l felt like Ray and l had nothing more to achieve and he had soo much to teach another. I was in Mauritius when Lucy Gunn enquired about Raymond and l remember thinking oh she is too small for Ray. Well Lucy and Susie came and we all just clicked. People used to ask me if l missed Ray and l never did because l trusted Lucy, and l never doubted the level of care he was receiving. I saw Ray and Lucy gallop around Melbourne Three Day and l didn't see regret, l saw pride in what l had a hand in producing. Fly high Raymond https://m.facebook.com/story.php
