11.01.2022 Methamphetamine!!! What is it? We know Methamphetamine/Ice is a man-made drug using chemicals. These chemicals may include but not limited to, Acetone,Ammonia,Hydrogen Chloride, Phosphene, Iodine, Red Phosphorous, Pseudoephedrine and Ephedrine. I was asked recently how old is Methamphetamine/Ice... Research by various organizations indicate it was first manufactured as Amphetamine by Germany in 1887 and later in 1919 as Methamphetamine by Japan. Methamphetamine was used/given to German troops and Japanese pilots during the second world war as it kept them awake longer and made them more aggressive. Today we see Australia as one of the highest users of Meth in the Western World.

10.01.2022 Renovated Homes. With the property market hot and homes being offered for sale as newly renovated, their can be an underlying issue that most prospective home buyers do not realize. Their new purchase could be contaminated with methamphetamine either by manufacture or use. Newly painted internal surfaces can mask the severity of contamination but not cure the situation.... Research has shown that acrylic or water based paints and stains can mask contamination levels for as long as 3 months whilst oil based paints and stains up to 6 months. After these periods methamphetamine levels start to reappear and can form back to the levels before the renovation occurred. MMT have helped prospective buyers in testing homes that have been renovated with success and provide a Laboratory Accredited report to our clients detailing any Methamphetamine, Amphetamine, Ephedrine and Pseudoephedrine levels.
