24.01.2022 A great day was had at the Club Christmas Party on Saturday. Well done to all those that got into the spirit of things and wore their magnificent "Black and White" themed outfits. Our next event will be the SE Rally in January for those that would like to attend. See Club Newsletter for details. Also, our Club weekend at Bicheno in February. May you all have a Safe and Happy Christmas and look forward to catching up with everyone in 2020!!

24.01.2022 Been having a rest over Christmas so Club activity has been quiet - however we kick off the year with our annual get-together at Bicheno on the weekend 22/23 February. Have you booked your accommodation yet at the Caravan Park? Don't forget to let Wayne know if you are going (for catering purposes) - details in the Club Newsletter. Let's hope we get good weather. Look forward to a Club catch up!!

24.01.2022 Re posting - reduced price - Sale - 1949 Morris Minor Lowlight Tourer. Bodywork in primer and wouldnt take a lot to prepare it for paint. The original side valve motor has been reconditioned this year and comes with all the receipts. Radiator repaired, Gearbox overhauled, Reconditioned shock absorbers ready to install all around, ... Reconditioned rack and pinion also never installed. Complete interior kit from Newton Commercial in the UK including seats as per original in beige leather with maroon piping and are beautiful ($4000 worth) Comes with Heritage Certificate and extras including 2 rare side valve twin carby manifolds with Monaro Motors badging. Will need a new soft top but the remains of the old one are with it, all the frame etc is complete. This has the bones of being a really good original car. Now reduced to $6900. 23.01.2022 The Club went to the Bullock and Heritage Festival at Oatlands. Must have been the coldest day of the year! Great turn up of members. Thanks Dennis and Sally for the scones, hot soup and a warm fire!

22.01.2022 For Sale - 1949 low light Morris Minor in original condition, except for the paint colour. It has been stored, for 30 years, in the garage of a two story house. It has original engine, seats, the works and is ready for someone to lovingly restore. It comes with additional bonnet, mechanicals & many spares. The lot for $2000. 22.01.2022 One of our newest members has just purchased this restored Morris out of Melbourne. Originally from Tassie as shown in a Christmas Parade in Devonport in 2011. Doesn't it look great! We look forward to the day when it can join us on a Club Run. All runs and social activities on hold at the moment. Thanks Richard for the photos!

13.01.2022 Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus things have really slowed down with Club activities. I urge you all to stay home, keep safe, and be patient. Perhaps now is a good time to get the Morrie out, check mechanics, polish the bodywork and clean the windows!!!! As soon as things get back to "normal" we WILL organise a Club run and give the Morries a bit of exercise. 10.01.2022 My name is Robyn Littlejohn and I live in Launceston. My husband Barry has a one owner 1954 Morris Minor that we would love to give to someone to restore. His late father bought it new. It was garaged for most of its life, but when the owner died it just sat in a shed for some years. It's currently under a tarp in our paddock. My husband assures me it would still run with a battery in it etc. There's no rust as far as I know, but needs a complete restoration. 07.01.2022 Club run today to The Cannery Restaurant at Dunalley after a delayed start - thanks to the Council, in their wisdom, deciding to seal a section of the Arthur Highway which threw the poor restaurant staff into chaos with everyone arriving late for their bookings. However they did a great job and the meals were amazing! Great to catch up with everyone.

01.01.2022 Our Northern Members enjoyed a day out at the Blueberry Farm Cafe at Frankford - a great day was had by all! The food looks amazing!

01.01.2022 Club run to Mt Field National Park today - weather was kind. Numbers were down but those that did come enjoyed a very pleasant day. Amazing morning tea spread - we needed a walk to the Falls!!!
