Flemington purchased 2 packages of semen after Morrisvale Kept Secret won at the Sydney Feature show in 2017. Heres a Kept Secret daughter in milk at Flemington Limousins. 24.01.2022 HEIFER BULL AT YA READY $$$ Morrisvale Quality Street (MRJPQ35). A potentially home polled bull that we used over our heifers program this year. Video taken when he came out of heifers at 16mths Packed full of muscle, softness, heaps girth and great temperment.... He is sired by Morrisvale Nullabor that was sold to Limek Limousins in SA 2019 his calves are impressing, he is also a grand son of Morrisvale Lumberjack (trait leader heifer bull and breeding well all over the world). Got a great blend of pedigree too with, a little Candian, little bit French for power and Australian genetics wrapped together.
24.01.2022 Commerical quality at Morrisvale after our 1st decent rain in 2020. All the green tagged calves are sired by a Kept Secret son and the yellow tag calves are embryos (B Bar Slate and Bubba Watson sired) that have huge potential as stud bulls or heifers into the future.
24.01.2022 Cattle market is red hot in WA at the moment. We sold some vealer steers and heifers today around the 320kg. Steers made $4.44 and heifers $4.10/kg. Be interesting if it cools in the next few weeks like it did last year.

21.01.2022 Out visiting one of our lovely clients today. Had the chance to catch up and see how one of the bulls she bought from us is performing. Happy to say she is extremely happy with how he and his calves are preforming and with how steady he is. This fella is a half brother to Kept Secret and is rising 5. Always good to follow up and see how our genetics are progressing in other herds.

We have only 4 left for the upcoming season (sold 8 already), SO if your in the market for a rising 2yr old bull then get in quick. Remember "USING A EURO BULL will increase weight in your calves 30-50kg each year. At today's prices off $4/kg average steers and heifers, that's an extra $120-$200/hd in your pocket 40 calves = $4800-$8000". It ma...ke sense to make the switch. 16.01.2022 HARVEY BEEF GATE TO PLATE 2020 competition is amazing to be part off. Thanks to all sponsors and organisers for this event once again. This year we were lucky enough to win the MSA grading section of the competition, which is a huge achievement for a limousin cross animal. ... Our cattle (3 in team) performed very well again but would definitely be hard to back up winning the whole thing like 2019, consistency is the key amd finish 12th (68 teams) were humble and greatful for. The great thing from the data is to show our cattle through the feedlot worked out to finish approx $250/hd profitable for the feedloter. 2020 and beyond, weaners sired by MORRISVALE bulls can be purchased by Kylagh feedlot that have fed our calves this year and are extremely impressed with the profitability. This gives you as a producer a guaranteed market and premiums payed for outstanding calves. FEEDLOT MANAGER QUOTE - "When ya turning calves out of feedlot on avg 20 days before eveything else it is economical sense and they also are grading for coles". All cattle are processed at Harvey Beef.

09.01.2022 Garren Park Nightrider has enjoyed the past 18mths in WA lockdown. Hes now in quarantine post leaving his ladies. He has a very even and thick set of calves on the ground in 2020. Another drop to come in 2021. Interesting to see how the calves are looking around Australia as semen was sold after we purchased him at the nationals 2019.
08.01.2022 Great too see how our bulls grow on (in their working clothes) and how commerical they are working in clients programs. Pictured @ 5yrs. These photos were sent to us today of 5mth old calves. These calves last year topped the sale at Boyanup yards at $3.80/kg avg over 30 steers and heifers. We have some cows sired by him before we sold that are coming to the top as well. Out of our flush cow E13 (Flame line), one of her natural calfs.
08.01.2022 MRJPQ35 - after a few weeks rest, rain and a fresh paddock. Hes picking his condition up nicely after serving our stud heifers. This heifer bull im sure will be one well sought after come bull selling season if not sold before.

Hell now go out to mate our commercial mob of cows. 1.4 billion swimmers in 1ml thats not to shabby. Look forward to seeing his calves.

06.01.2022 Great day today after a magical fog this morning. We flushed MRJPE13 and she gave us 10/20 fertilised eggs. We then checked the recips and implanted 19/21 (fresh and frozen eggs). 2nd round of AI for the heifers and they have so far behaved. 9/13 limos and 7/9 commercials didnt return. ... After a very hard start to the year and past couple of years the fertility continues to impress. Heres hoping for a good this weekend.

Daughters galore, stud bulls bred, and flushes very reliable each time. Plus she always had an outstanding temperament and helped our kids grow their love for the breed and showing .
