09.01.2022 Picture this... Old world rustic charm reminiscent of Federation style, greenery that takes you to another place and a menu that evokes childhood memories (well mine anyway). Like Central Park is the centre of New York, to me Fairfield Boathouse is the heart and soul of one our franchise areas. This serene place was established in 1908 as a picnic, camping and refreshment room area. Today it is much more than that.... Have your very own Notebook moment on the Yarra row boats, kayaks and canoes are available to hire. Enjoy a meal, tea and scones or even a wine in the tea rooms or along the Yarra. Take a walk or ride across the Fairfield Pipe Bridge, the view is well worth it. To me its the magical amphitheatre that brings me back to my childhood. The boathouse was the special place where my nonna would take me for ice cream. Theres something about this place that makes me feel closer to her.
