15.01.2022 Ok people, I have been getting a lot of enquiry lately from first home buyers. So today I thought it would be timely to give all of you potential first home buyers out there, an idea of the minimum deposit you will need, especially now that the State Government has cut the First Home Owner Grant out for established homes. To give an example, if you were purchasing a $460,000 established home you would need a $37,000 deposit, of which $23,000 would need to come from genuine... savings (the rest can come from a 'gift' from a mother, father or brother of sister. Your repayments on the above example would be around $440 per week, which makes it very affordable. There is only one lender that will allow you to put in this much deposit. All other lenders you will be need to find at least another $5,000. This could be the difference in getting the property you want or having to wait. To find out which lender this is, give me a call!

11.01.2022 I have been receiving a lot of requests lately to help Western Australian based first home buyers get their first home loans, so I thought it timely to update everyone on the changes to WA's First Home Owner Grant. As of the 17th of September, the First Home Owner Grant will drop to $3,000 from the current $7,000. To be eligible for the $7,000 you will have needed to sign a Contract of Sale by the 16th September 2013. You need only sign the contract, settlement can take place after this time. Enjoy!
