24.01.2022 REMINDER: Car Rally is this Sunday and all families are requested to help out. Please see the timetable in the kinder foyer for your allotted shift. If you cant make your time...try to swap with someone else. If you cant make it at all please let the committee know. Were also relying on food donations, so please put your name beside something on the table under the roster. ... Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday!

Please read this email and reply via phone text as to whether your child will or will not be commencing next week. Further information will be emailed next Tues and will answer all of your questions. 23.01.2022 For our last day of Term 2, Kate Carmody will be attending Kinder and presenting the children with a Healthy Breakfast session. We will be having breakfast as a group when we arrive with the children able to choose many healthy options. Parents are welcome to join us for this session. Please give the children a light breakfast before arriving at Kinder and we will supplement the breakfast when they arrive.... The children are also invited to wear their PJs to Kinder as a fun element but please provide day clothes for the educators to change them into later in the day. Just a bit of fun Just a reminder that the children will return to Kinder on Tuesday 16th July.

21.01.2022 Welcome back for Term 2. Our first Kindergarten session commenced tomorrow ( Thursday) and the staff are looking forward to welcoming families back to Kinder. Information for the start of the term has been emailed to all families and it is important that families are aware of this information before tomorrow morning. The Kindergarten Home Learning packs will be available for collection tomorrow between 10.00am and 1.00pm. I would like to thank our educators who have spent con...siderable time over the holidays creating this learning pack. We hope the children enjoy the variety of this pack. 20.01.2022 Reminder that the Car Rally is on tomorrow. Ive attached the roster in case youve forgotten your allotted time. Please deliver all sandwiches and slices to the kinder as early as possible. All other donations can be bought directly to the bbq shelter. See you all tomorrow!

20.01.2022 Mortlake Kindergarten will again be taking part in the Mortlake Christmas Parade. This year the parade will be held on Friday December 13. Well send out more information about times etc a bit closer to the date but for now can you pelase just save the date. The children will just need to wear black clothes and well supply the accompanying costume/dress-up. Cheers, Kinder Committee.

19.01.2022 Christmas Parade: At this stage the parade is still on. However weve had a few enquiries from parents with concerns about the weather. Whats everyones thoughts? Will you still be attending? Should we still take part?... Also, please note that the parade does not start until 6.30 so we wouldnt need everybody there until 6.15. (Instead of 5.45 as advised earlier)

19.01.2022 Just a reminder of 2 events happening this week for the Mortlake Kindergarten. Monday 17th Feb: General Kindergarten meeting to be held at Macs Hotel tonight @ 7.00pm. Come along and discover whats happening at Kindergarten this year. All families welcome.... Friday 21st Feb: Family fun night at Cobden Miniature Trains from 6.00 pm until 8.30pm. Free train rides & BBQ, BYO drinks & salad etc.. This will be a fun social night. It would be wonderful to see as many Kinder families as possible to celebrate the start of a new Kinder year.

14.01.2022 Mortlake Kindergarten will commence on Thursday 30th January for the majority of children. 3 yr children who will be attending on Wednesdays only will commence on Wed 5th Feb. 10.01.2022 CHRISTMAS PARADE The Kinder will once again be taking part in the Annual Christmas Parade on Friday 14th December. This year were going with a snowman theme. The kids will be making their masks at kinder. It would be great if your child is taking part if they could please come wearing a white T-shirt/top and black pants. Well supply the black buttons and scarves. (See pic)... The parade starts at 6pm, so well need the kids to gather at St Colmans from 5.40pm. Directly after the parade, the Kinder will also be running a small stall at the carols which will include face painting and biscuit decorating. Any help here would also be appreciated. Please come along and get involved in all of the nights activities. The volunteers work really hard to coordinate the night and if its not supported it wont continue to run. Its also a great opportunity to show the community how great our kids, teachers, committee and parents are! Ho, ho, hope to see you all there!

09.01.2022 What a great day today for the 3 year old kinder break up. Thank you for all the parents who came along to celebrate with us and also to farewell Andrea. We would like to wish her the very best and thank her for the many years she has dedicated to the children at Mortlake kindergarten. Andrea you will greatly missed by all and we wish you all the best for the future. Thank you also to Melissa for your dedication to our 3 year old program, you have been such an amazing as...set. 09.01.2022 Hi all, Our major fundraiser for the year has been confirmed. As the kinder has done in previous years, we will be catering for the Car Rally at Tea Tree Lake on March 22nd. In the coming weeks there will be a timetable in the foyer with allocated times for each family to attend as well as a list of food donations. Please keep your eye out for these. Many hands make light work!
