23.01.2022 Hi All This is to let you know Uke sessions from the soldiers club on Tuesday Nights (1st and 3rd) of the month. Have now ended,been cancelled, have stopped. I was going to try and keep it going til Christmas but due to other commitments it is just become too difficult. I will continue from... Moruya Golf club on 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. 6.30 and I will see how it goes. For those that are interested we have a spot in the Katoomba Uke festival on 9th feb 2020 @ 11am. 23.01.2022 I have had to make a decision for Morukers meeting at Moruya on Thursday Nights. I have decided not to start the uke group again this year. 2020 I will re assess the situation again in November -December for 2021 so stay tuned. Keep safe and stay warm. And keep uking

22.01.2022 Whats happening now with the Morukers Well its all about Ukes and Drums. Other musical instruments too. Community music Where ... Tuesday nights at Batemans bay soldiers club Thursday nights at Moruya Golf Club Both Start at 6,30. Until - 8.00Pm For 1.5 hours with a 15 min break in the middle. We have a drum tutor (definitely on Tuesdays. - Thursday is still being considered) with a djemba drum to lead those drumming. I will Be leading the ukes. We will be playing songs from song sheets and or overhead projector. As a group We will run through the chords then play the songs If the group decides (maybe) we will play the same song a second time. We will also be setting up a mic so if some one wants to sing the song they can. I would love you to come and to encourage any one that wants to also join in and jam/play or sing with us. Tell them to come along and bring their voice, Guitars, bass, drums , whistles, shakers etc anyone that can follow chords or play by ear and want to have fun. All are welcome Cost $10 each children $5 and Songs sheets will be given out. On the night Lessons will still be provided after the group session or by arrangement. Im excited and I hope you will be there. I may have a few teething issues but hoping it will work really well. Bring your music stands too. 19.01.2022 Hi Morukers Change to timetable Welcome back. Moving forward classes at Batemans Bay will be run every 1st and 3rd week starting May. Moruya golf club group is a bit tricky we are back on Thursday night the 2nd. See dates below ... 16.01.2022 Hi all. Our last play along is this Thursday night at Moruya golf club at 6.30pm til 8pm. 2020 we start again in Feb. 1st and 3rd Thursday night. Thats the 6th and 20th Feb. 2020 ... I hope to see you at Moruya and for those that have moved, for those that were travelling through, may your journey bring you more happiness and fun as you now travel with your Uke. A sad note The Morukers lost a lovely, kind lady this year and she loved playing her Uke. Adrienne Sheppard may she now find peace and play her Uke whenever she wants. I also want to thank everyone that has played with us, sang with us and listened to us a very Merry Christmas and stay safe during the holiday break. 15.01.2022 Uke classes off until 15th Feb Hi all Uke players. A Morukers update. This week is over Tuesday 15th and ... Thursday 17th. Im now away for a few weeks. Ill will be back Tuesday 19th and Thursday 21st. Note well. Change to format. Tuesday at ## Batemans bay soldiers club. Beginner start 6.30 to 7.15 - then 7.15 to 7.30 break 7.30 -7.45 lesson on the nights songs. 7.45 to 8.30 play and sing along #* Thursday nights at Moruya golf club. 6.30 - 7.30 beginners and children can stay if they wish 7.30-8.30 play and sing along Each night $10 per Uke player. If people would like to play alternative songs bring a copy to be included the the next weeks. I hope this format will suit all those who want to learn or just want to play with a group.
