21.01.2022 Just a quick note to all my customers. I respect your right to privacy and if you wish to have your phone I.D. as private, please call my mobile number. I have recently been inundated with telemarketers hiding their numbers on caller ID to my landline, so I've blocked all calls displaying PRIVATE. They never call my mobile number as it would cost them too much. So please feel free to call that number or text me. I'll return your call and sorry for any inconvenience.

15.01.2022 As a matter of desperation sometimes, I get asked if I do Television repairs. Unfortunately, I do not. That is a specialised vocation involving a technician with resources that I don't dabble in. I only know of 2 repairers in my area who I will pass on that type of work to. Mostly, electronic consumer goods are far too expensive to repair and are usually sent under warranty to authorised repairers. Lots of your pre-loved TVs end up being now not fixable due to the expense. Let's face it... Your $7,000 Plasma that is 10 years old can be replaced for a 2-3 thousand dollar TV that doesn't send your power meter into dizzy-spells while warming up a room without the use of a heater. So, unless your TV is relatively new and under warranty, there's not a lot of real options left these days. Sad, but true.

13.01.2022 There are times when the TV towers are off the air. It's not as simple as just doing an auto tune when you have no services on all channels. Please DON'T do that first! You'll then lose the memorised channels when there is absolutely no signal from the tower. Feel free to call and ask me if there is a problem with the TV in your area when ALL channels are not being received. Things you can do first are to check your antenna out side. Consult any neighbours where their antennas are pointing in the same direction. If both of you are not receiving TV, it has to be external. Just sit tight and check from time to time. My service area is from Narooma to Durras on the far south coast on NSW. If you are having TV reception problems in this area. Feel free to call me.

12.01.2022 Advice over the phone is always free. Some people who phone me have one thing in common when they say, "We've just moved into a house and we have no TV reception." 9 times out of 10 the reason is that the people who have just vacated took the power supply plug pack for the antenna booster. And sometimes, they merely have just moved into the area, not knowing that they need to re-tune their TV to the frequencies for their new location. If I can help solve your problem over the phone, great. Otherwise, you need The Antenna Guy.

06.01.2022 Just to reiterate to my local customers. I'm open for your business during January. Do put off calling, thinking that I'd be too busy to help you. Last February, all the locals called me thinking I'd be too run off my feet with holiday makers down here. Then I got really run off my feet during February. You are my bread and butter all year round. Most holiday makers want me to work on weekends which lead me last January looking at my phone Monday to Friday wondering why it wasn't ringing.
