22.01.2022 Late last month Moruya Business Chamber joined forces with Narooma Chamber of Commerce & Eurobodalla Shire Council in applying for funding from the NSW government for NSW Small Business Month in October, each applying for a $2,000 grant and we have been successful. This means that we will be offering to members of Naroom and Moruya chambers a valued course in improving the efficiency of your business. Details of this flexible online, with zoom class support sessions, will be shared shortly. Moruya Business Chamber would like to thank Narooma Chamber of Commerce and Eurobodalla Shire Council for joining us in applying for the NSW Government's Small Business Month funding. The combined value of this collaboration is allowing us to offer businesses in Moruya and Narooma access to valued education in business improvement

17.01.2022 Think it's wet in Moruya? Hey, you ain't seen nothing! Here are images of the big flood of 1925 (or was it 1926? The first building is where Moruya Pharmacy is now and just along the street is the upstairs verandah at the newsagency) and the flood in 1962. Fingers crossed we don't go there this time!

11.01.2022 WANT TO SUPPLY GOODS TO COUNCIL? We're establishing a panel of businesses that can supply us with: Garden supplies (including turf); Hardware; Plumbing su...pplies; and Stormwater and related products. The panel will likely be Council’s first port of call for anything from a seedling to a concrete pipe for two years, commencing in March 2021. The panel process reduces red tape and removes the need for businesses to quote for individual jobs every time they arise at Council. If your business is not on the panel, you may miss out on a lot of trade. The closing date for submissions is Thursday 3 December at 2pm. Apply at www.tenderlink.com/eurobodalla See more
