08.01.2022 *** Update - please read *** . The council has had loads of complaints over the past week due to people not following social distancing rules at the market last Saturday. We need to you read and adhere to the following points please: . Please remains at least 1.5 m away from other market-goers at all times. This includes both on the path and in / at stalls... . Please DO NOT stop and have a chat on the path. This is a thoroughfare and creates mayhem for social distancing. Please move away from the paths if you’d like to talk to friends etc . Please use the hand sanitiser provided at each stall. You also need to fill in the paper register at least once during the day (these are provided in each stall). This is in case you need to be contacted afterward for any reason. . Riverside pizza have a new system for those ordering WHOLE pizzas only. Please text them your order on 0482 499 593 and await a return text stating your pizza is ready. If ordering slices only, please proceed as usual, but of course with min 1.5 m distancing. Please only send one member of your group to order and collect. . Due to extra space being allocated between stalls from this week forward, some stalls may not be in their usual positions. They won’t be far so please look out for them. . Thank you all for your continued support, and we look forward to future markets being enjoyable and safe for all. 08.01.2022 The market is saddened by the passing of Harold, a stalwart (and previous president) of the market for many, many years. . His funeral is on Wednesday 28th April at the Broulee Memorial Gardens and Crematorium at 195 Broulee Road, Broulee. Harold and the family requested no suits be worn, only casual attire. Speedway drivers please feel free to wear your race shirts. . Condolences to Kay (market manager) and family. He will be sorely missed
