25.01.2022 Dear Families, We hope that you are keeping well over the holidays. The NSW Department of Education has made the decision that both Monday the 27th of April and Tuesday the 28th of April will be Staff Development Days and as such no students will be in attendance on those 2 days. Students of essential workers will return on Wednesday the 29th of April and all other students will continue working from home as they did at the end of Term 1. Weekly work packs can be collected... from the office and will also be published on class Seesaw pages. Alternatively we can email or post them to you if required. From the beginning of Week 3 all students will return to school 1 day per week. This is yet to be organised, however, there will be communication and consultation with families at the start of term to ensure that everyone is supported. If you have any questions before the start of term please email [email protected] and we will respond to you as soon as possible. We thank you for your support during Term 1 and are positive that by working together we will be able to continue to support students and their families this term.

It is important to actively manage your (and your familys) wellbeing by maintaining routines where possible, connecting with family and friends (even if not in person), staying physically active, eating nutritious foods and seeking additional further professional support as required. Here are some tips on how to ensure your children are supported: Give your childre...n extra attention and reassurance. Where possible, minimise their exposure to media and social media that may heighten anxiety Acknowledge your own feelings about the situation and let children know its okay to share their own feelings Include your children in plans and activities around the house Attached is a list of websites of places to seek wellbeing support. Kathy, our School Counsellor is also available to support your children, either through email or phone contact. Contact the school or email [email protected] See more

04.01.2022 We are so fortunate to have a wonderful school canteen which operates each school day. Our Canteen is considering making accounts available where parents could pre pay an amount of money which students could then access for lunch orders and over the counter purchases. Before we seek further feedback and invest in the software which would enable this to be managed we would like an indication of how many families would make use of an account. Please like this post if you would make use of an account with our school canteen. You are also welcome to comment feedback or ideas. Comments will not be made public. Thank you.
