25.01.2022 The 4/5/6 Hub have been working hard on our new Inquiry Unit, focusing on food wastage. The students are currently looking at the reasons, why not all the food that is grown is eaten. Did you know we throw out half of all the fruit and vegetables that are grown! The kids are busily researching where food comes from, how it is processed and ways to reduce the wastage, so it can get onto our plates and into our lunchboxes ready to be eaten.

19.01.2022 Here is the update for schools from the Education Minister, James Merlino. We will be continuing remote learning for the rest of this term (2 weeks) and also the first week of Term 4. We will resume on-site learning on the week beginning Monday October the 12th - this may be staggered for different year levels but the expectation is that all of our students will all be back onsite by Friday October the 16th. We will keep you updated as further information comes to hand.

We are all really proud of how hard you have worked this term and the work you have sent in. This Friday we have another Fun Friday planned for half the day as we begin school holidays at 12.30pm.... Week 1 of Term 4 will be remote learning so remember to check our website for your work for the week. Students will return onsite on Monday 12th October, week 2 with staggered start and finish times and assigned gates There will be more information to come. 09.01.2022 We were very proud of the 66 students who took part in the ‘My Valley, My Home’ virtual choir project. About 2 years ago, Jonathon Welch visited our school and asked the students why they liked living in the Latrobe Valley. He then used some of these ideas to write the song. On Tuesday, the video was released which showcases our students, along with members of the community. This song was written to show the world that we are a diverse but caring community. Well done to all involved.

03.01.2022 The Prep/1 Hub have been loving their new Space Station room in Discovery Time. It looks amazing and the students have been having a fantastic time dressing up as Astronauts and learning about all the things that happen in space.
