Ramahyuck will hold ownership until such time as a new Morwell Aboriginal community controlled organisation is formally constituted, operating and ready to take on the management of the building. This is great news as Ninde Dana Quarenook is now back in community control. See more

18.01.2022 Hey you mob! On 18 OCTOBER 2020 at 11.59pm there will be an easing of restrictions in metro Melbourne and a few in regional Victoria. There will also be a furth...er easing on 1 November (particularly for hospitality and retail in metro Melb) if we hit our targets. A list of the restriction priority changes are listed at http://www.vaccho.org.au//corona/what-we-all-need-to-know/ We are doing so well in keeping confirmed cases down in Victoria and this 'easing' is a welcome change for all of us. So it's now more important than ever we remember the work we've been putting in to get here. Please: keep following restrictions don't travel between metro and regional areas unless you have a permitted reason (we don't want to move the virus between regional & metro areas) keep wearing your mask Even with restrictions easing, remember to keep getting in touch with your local GP or ACCO to get your regular health checks as well as getting tested (and isolating until you get your results). Get tested even if you’re showing the mildest cold or flu symptoms. It’s also really important we reach into our supports right now. 15.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE To protect our staff, clients and the community Central Gippsland Aboriginal Health Services- Ramahyuck has implemented a number of preventative measures: - All non-essential staff are working from home or have been sent home for their own well-being and that of their families.... - All non urgent activities and events including Planned Activity Groups have been cancelled until further notice. - Relevant staff will check in with their clients via phone on a regular basis. - All Ramahyuck provided transport outside of the local area has been suspended. - All our resources are being utilised to keep the Medical Clinics open. - You must call our Medical Clinics prior to attending if you are suffering from cold or flu like symptoms, have recently travelled overseas or been in contact with someone who has travelled overseas recently. - If you are suffering from severe symptoms like difficulty breathing call 000. - Our Clinic operating hours will be 9am-5pm Monday to Friday commencing next week. - If you have any questions regarding Coronavirus you can call the 24 hour hotline on 1800 675 398 or visit www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/Victorian-public-Coronavirus-disease-co. - Circumstances are changing daily and we will keep you updated via this page.
