21.01.2022 Today we said a big thank you to the fabulous Kurnai College VCAL students who worked incredibly hard to beautify our playground area and put up our shed. They worked over the hot summer, learning valuable skills and completing work that would have taken our volunteers many, many months. 13.01.2022 It is a very sad day for the Morwell Tennis Club Super Seniors to inform e everyone that our dear friend Colin Crabtree passed away shortly after 5pm today after a courageous battle with cancer. We send our sincere condolences to his lovely wife Sue, their children Danny and Melany and their young families. We will miss him very much.

08.01.2022 MORWELL TENNIS GLOWS! What an incredible night! 100 kids and 30 adults took part in Gippslands first Glow Tennis event tonight. Thank you to everyone who came along and supported our initiative, were looking forward to seeing you hit the courts again soon. Also a big thank you to our hard working committee and volunteers, our club coach Sally Kirstine, Tennis Victoria, Parkside Tennis Academy for your guidance and to Bridle Rd Pizza for once again generously supplying vouchers and always supporting local kids events.

05.01.2022 Wow what a night for the Morwell Tennis club. Over 130 people attended the first glow tennis night and thank you to you all. I would also like to ask as all of the people who enjoyed themselves to come back to our club. Even more importantly get your kids or yourself to come and join our club. We cater for beginners to advanced players, we have a great group of Super seniors that meet on Monday & Fridays. Please for our club to be able to continue to provide great fun nights ...like last night we need as many of you to join the club as possible. A special thanks to the volunteers from last night what a great event they provided for us all. Special thanks to The Butter worth family, Pat Wall, and there helpers Bert, Ron, Sherreff,Mitchell, Gillian Naomi & Maree. With a special thanks to Daniel and Sally for running the glow tennis on the court. Great work and well done everyone. Looking forward to seeing you all back at the club next time or at anytime you would like to come.

04.01.2022 MORWELL TENNIS CLUB GETS SOLAR How about some good (great) news?! Today, Morwell Tennis Club had solar panels installed, which will greatly help reduce our yearly running costs and help keep the club ticking. This project could not have been possible without the generosity of the Morwell Bowling Club, Gippsland Solar and the former Morwell East Tennis Club. A HUGE thank you to long time committee members Pat and Lochlin Wall, who made this happen.

03.01.2022 PLEASE READ After receiving an email from Tennis Victoria recommending temporarily ceasing tennis activity in Victoria, the Morwell Tennis Club has taken the difficult decision to close the courts to all activity, including social hitting, in line with the recommendations that have been made. While we understand this is frustrating, our motivation, as always, is the safety of everyone who participates in tennis at the facility, and therefore the courts are now locked until we are advised otherwise from our governing body.
