17.01.2022 Wow... where has the past three years gone! In the blink of an eye, I have gone from a small start-up business working from a tiny little home office, to a small established business working from a gorgeous office space (thanks to our in-house green thumb Lisa Slater for keeping all of our indoor plants thriving! ) and have two unbelievably amazing women in my team Lisa & Kahlia! Rewind to around the beginning of 2017 when the idea crept in that maybe, just maybe, I ...could go out on my own and have a crack at this business thing. After sharing this crazy idea with my family and friends, and with their unwavering support, I started to feel more confident in my ability and had this new found drive to make it happen, to take that giant leap of faith and just go for it. I had nothing to lose right?! Little did I know that making that decision would lead to what would undeniably be one of the best decisions of my life. I never dreamt of being a business owner as a child, even as a young adult (I didn’t even know what a Settlement Agent was like many others until you buy your first home!), the idea of not only running a business but ensuring it provided for me financially was scary. And now I find myself providing jobs for others and creating a workplace and environment that is a fun and enjoyable place to be. To share one of life’s biggest milestones of home ownership with so many clients and friends, and clients that have become friends, is the best feeling ever. I am so very lucky to call my passion my job. Three years in and loving it!
