18.01.2022 Short story - Your dearly beloved might be in the office, stuck in the house or on the header this harvest. Next time you need parts in town why don't you get ...on the phone and get some flowers dropped off at the same spot? Long Story - Early in the year; before the rain, covid and the wool market slump we talked to some great wool growers as a part of the Moses and Son Summer Updates. One of the things we covered was Love Languages. We all give and receive messages of love in different ways. Some people just love gifts, like these beautiful flowers from The Caithness Bunch. Some people want a cuddle, some to be told how fantastic they are, for some it is work or acts of service or time spent together. For others it's gifts, gifts are easy. #somonetagmyhusband

17.01.2022 As we reflect on the past 100 years of business, we would like to share with you an image from the decade and the moments that made it memorable. This month we take a look at the 1990s. In 1990, Moses & Son moved to their state of the art handling facilities on Melaleuca Street, Temora. In 1989 Bruce was presented with National Association of Testing Authorities Registration for the Core Testing Line, becoming the first Wool Broker to achieve this status. In 1992 Bruce Moses’... son, Martin, became the Managing Director of Moses & Son, taking the successful family business into its fourth generation. Sadly Bruce passed away in 1994. In conjunction with several other regional wool brokers, Moses & Son formed Yennora Wool Brokers in 1994, which boasted the most modern auction show floor facility in the Northern Region Selling at the time. The wool market collapses and in February 1991 the reserve price scheme is suspended when the size of the AWC stockpile reaches 4.7 million bales. Throughout the 1990s wool prices remain depressed as the stockpile is sold down and wool production falls.
