25.01.2022 If you've been to the Moshi Moshi office, South Bunbury Rotary or literally any social event in Bunbury, you've most likely met our Marketing Director, Dave. Dave recently sat with Emma from South West Leaders - Western Australia to discuss how Moshi came to exist, what digital marketing holds for the future, and the importance of an online presence in the digital age. (It's a pretty great read, if we do say so ourselves!)

25.01.2022 Did you catch our Head Developer's 'Day in the Life' video this week? Here's a sneak peak, but to view the full day in all it's glory, check it out here: https://bit.ly/MoshiDITL Note: No software developers were harmed in the making of this film.

23.01.2022 Thanks South West Leaders - Western Australia for another informative and engaging event! Moshi's David spoke about Machine Learning, and as we say here in the office: "it's important to learn about the machine that's learning about you."

22.01.2022 Check out the new black uniform for our Dev team, to blend in with their dark coding caves . Jk! Our developers like to be a bit different from the crowd, as do our designs!

20.01.2022 It’s not every day you get to head to your favourite Laser Tag arena to capture footage of the players in action! We thought we may have been in the danger zone just by how excited the teams were, but managed to not get caught in the crossfire and produced some killer footage! Definitely recommend Real Combat Laser Tag Bunbury for a great workout and a killer social activity.

20.01.2022 This week we went live with one of our recent custom web designs for Agspread Australia Pty Ltd - a specialised logistics and haulage service, transporting all manner of materials throughout WA. Design: Our header is the star of this design, using subtle animation techniques to draw the eye into the cog of the roadmap lines - our prime real estate above the fold. The cog itself visually represents how the elements of Agspread all come together to create the well oiled machi...ne that is the business. The network graphic shows the interconnectivity of Agspread, representing aerial views of road maps, while also taking the audience on a visually guided journey from the left to the right of the page. We continued to add subtle animations throughot the rest of the site, to keep people interested and to follow the intended user journey. Want to check it out in person? Click here: https://www.agspread.com.au If you have any questions, put them in the comments below!

19.01.2022 Happy birthday to our awesome developer, Jordy! May your day be filled with Ironman suits, Okily Dokily tunes, fresh bevvies and some PHP wings. We love having you onboard the Moshcrew!

19.01.2022 Dave continually spreading his endless marketing knowledge to the South West!

19.01.2022 Thanks for another great year South West Leaders - Western Australia, we had a great time at the wrap up for 2020 and are thankful to have so many great minds come together in the South West. Merry Christmas Leaders!

17.01.2022 HOLIDAY HOURS Our official offices will be closed from Monday 21st until January 4th. Some of our team will still be contactable via email, but the rest of us are off to enjoy time with our families and friends and to recollect ourselves after the year that was 2020. We want to give a huge thank you to our clients, our supporters, our employees and to all of you, who have cheered us on through this year. And while we recognise that 2020 has bought us a lot of great things, w...e also share our thoughts with those who weren't so fortunate. What we can offer is a huge resource of marketing advice - all available on our blog posts on our Moshi.com.au site and available via our Instagram Highlights. We wish you all a safe and happy holiday period, and see you in 2021. From the MoshCrew

14.01.2022 Being the LEGO nerds that we are (proudly!), this seemed too good to not share!

13.01.2022 Our very own David Byatt was asked to be a mentor for Maker + Co's Maker Nest program this year, giving entrepreneurs in the South West the tools required to bring new ideas to life!

11.01.2022 Move over, Elf on the Shelf! This year it's time for Yoshi on the Moshi. If you haven't seen the #myelf hashtag competition on Instagram yet, it's definitely great for a couple of chuckles!

10.01.2022 Today's debate in the office: does a bigger monitor make you a better developer?

10.01.2022 OLIVIA GROVE The movement for skin care products that are eco-friendly, natural and not tested on animals has been a movement we've been fully supportive of. We had one such skin care range come through our doors, looking for a new brand and an e-commerce website. Olivia Grove uses natural olive oils in their moisturisers and skincare products, to bring a glow to dry sum\mer skin. And if you're after some delicious South West foods, they do offer a few gourmet options ;)... Did you notice the olive tree straight away? . @oliviagrove

09.01.2022 Every year, Dave (who holds a honours degree in Philosophy) gets to attend and judge the South West Philosothon, and last night's event was spectacular.

09.01.2022 Our Moshi Creative Director Karl is allll about creativity and loves nothing more than putting pen to paper (or sketch pad) and creating art in his spare time. Karl’s entry has been selected for the Mental Health Week WA Art Exhibition at Bunbury Regional Art Gallery for the second year in a row with this piece titled ‘Sight of Illusion’. It asks the question: what do you see? How does this piece make you feel? You may see something inside that someone else doesn’t. ... My art is a journey I go on. I want to evoke emotional reactions that you can’t explain when you see this piece. To appreciate it in all its glory, come by the Bunbury Art Gallery between October 10th and November 1st. Congratulations Karl!

08.01.2022 Does social media confuse the hell out of you? When should you be posting? What platforms should you use? Who is your audience?... Our Public Relations Manager Lauren and Creative Producer Dee went to State of Social this week to make sure we're staying up to date with the social trends (turns out, we're pretty on the ball!) and making the best content strategies possible for our social clients (we are!). Here are the 10 key takeaways they pulled from the event - things you can do for your social media and Google Ads campaigns to make this more cost effective, more creative, and smoother overall. 06.01.2022 It's nearly Christmas! And you know what that means - it's time to make sure your product feeds, pixels and Shopping accounts are set up correctly. GOOGLE ADS: Make sure your products are up to date, prices are correct, your photos are representational of your products, and your Merchant Centre is set up properly via a correctly set up ecommerce platform. INSTAGRAM: You can tag products for sale in your photos if you have the correct Shopping settings set up. You can ...also tag a product in your Stories, if you have over 10,000 followers. FACEBOOK: If you have a Facebook Shop page, you can add each individual product to its own Product Listing for people to browse. This is a great time of year to consider Christmas promotions, and having each product individually set up means you can target specific users through the Boost function. Make sure your products are in stock, and that your Facebook Pixel is installed correctly on your website to track conversions. How are you getting ready for the Christmas shopping period? See more

03.01.2022 Time to test our new coasters.... I guess that means it’s Beer O’clock for the Moshi crew in order to see how they work... cough cough.

02.01.2022 Calling all South West business owners! How many hours a week do you spend planning your social media strategy? Do you plan at all or do you post impulsively? Our Public Relations Manager Lauren is back again to teach Bunbury business owners about the different social media platforms available to your business, how to gain the best traction, and ultimately, the importance of establishing meaningful communication and relationships between your customers and your company. ... If you'd like to partake in this seminar (run by City of Bunbury and BSW Connect - Business South West along with Anthony Congdon from Rethink Marketing), click on the link below to reserve your spot in the Zoom meeting. Wednesday September 2nd, 12-1pm. Looking forward to seeing you there!

02.01.2022 You’ve heard it from us a million times - websites exist to make life easier and to drive results for your business. Looks come second. Scroll through for some great examples of what happens when you DON’T follow this rule, and put form above function. Whoops!... (Images from The Uncomfortable)

01.01.2022 Let us just make one thing clear - we love Star Wars in the Moshi offices (well, most of us), and a couple of our designers have a nostalgic love for great *cough* 80's space special effect techniques. And thus, this end of year film was created. ... Please enjoy. Sincerely, the next George Lucas'.
