11.01.2022 Good morning Mossie Park Primary families. The volunteer managed school canteen runs every Friday from 8:30-1:30/2:00pm. It doesn't do this by itself. It would be fantastic to have a magical Canteen Fairy to do everything needed (well, we sort of do with Canteen Coordinator Taylor Langley :)), but unfortunately there's no such thing. So, putting the call out for volunteers for tomorrow (3 shifts need filling), and for upcoming Fridays. There are a number of new systems in pl...ace to streamline how canteen runs, and it's working well. If you've done a shift before we'd love to welcome you back, and if you haven't and are able to, then come along and you'll be lovingly shown what to do. We appreciate people have commitments so no guilt here. Do what you can. Sign up at the below link, and please don't hesitate to get in touch with me on 0438 850 398 or Taylor on 0420 581 234. 02.01.2022 P&C Meeting this evening at the School Library. Come along. 7pm. Or join in via Zoom. Details for Zoom are in the email sent out last week via Class Reps, or DM, call or text Celine or Jane for more information.

02.01.2022 Canteen is back! Second week open after the COVID shut-down. Strictly no cash, sorry. ... Please make orders through https://quickcliq.com.au/ before 0800 Friday mornings. If you weren't aware, there's an option instead of putting funds into Quickcliq that may sit there until needed, is a one-off order fee for $0.21 using a credit card. If you need help to set up a Quickcliq account, please contact us at the P&C. There are no over-the-counter sales at recess or lunch, so no cash needed at all. The P&C is looking to gradually introduce recess and lunch extras for purchase by the kids (as we know they love it), and we are looking at options for what these will be, and at the same time, looking at maybe changing up the Bake-and-Donate system. Best regards, Jane Cresswell P&C President 0438 850 398 and Taylor Langley Canteen Coordinator 0420 581 234

01.01.2022 "Get ready, STOMP! is back in 2020!! About this Event STOMP! It’s not your average walk in the park... It’s on again! The Mosman Park Youth Advisory Council are proud to announce another STOMP! event on Sunday 13 September 2020. Just like television’s ‘The Amazing Race’, STOMP! will see teams of local young people aged 10 18 years travel by foot to various locations around Mosman Park where they will participate in exciting ‘Checkpoint Challenges’. Groups will be comprised of 3 to 6 people and must register prior to the event. Checkpoint challenges will incorporate food, sport, art & craft, problem solving and environmental awareness so versatility and the willingness to have a go are a must. Pre arranged groups and individuals are welcome (if you don't have a group we can help you find one), but please note that any group with participants under 12 years must be accompanied by a supervising adult for the duration of the event. If you've competed before and still have your shirt please purchase the $15 ticket. STOMP! shirts must be worn so if you don't have one already you'll need to purchase the $25 ticket. Please contact the Town of Mosman Park Community Development Team on 9383 6600 or email [email protected] for further information."
