22.01.2022 Remember the days we could all be in one room together singing? At this time of year we’d usually be rehearsing for our Christmas concert. Let’s hope next year we’ll be singing our hearts out again And the trumpet shall sound!

11.01.2022 Mosman Musical Society is deeply saddened to hear tonight of the passing of Duncan McDonald, a stellar performer who passed our way only once, but unforgettably, as the arch- villain businessman Caldwell B. Cladwell in Kenney Ogilvie's powerful 2017 production of Urinetown with us. He was in some ways a reluctant performer, but once he took the stage you could not take your eyes off him. We feel cheated that we did not see more of him, on stage and off. To Duncan's family and many friends, we offer our deepest condolences for this heartbreaking loss, as well as heartfelt thanks for the brief interlude in life that brought Duncan our way. We will remember him.

This high-spirited musical romp is a wonderful valentine to the long-standing spirit of New York City and the people who seek to discover themselves there. All performance materials supplied by Hal Leonard Australia. This production was originally scheduled for June 2020. We had previously auditioned and cast this production in 2020. As a result of the pandemic, we have had to reschedule the production to August 2021. Some of the roles have been previously cast and some of those cast in 2020 will continue with the roles in the August 2021 production. Those roles already cast are noted in the Audition Info Pack. The lead role is still available! Mosman Musical Society is committed to diverse and inclusive casting. 07.01.2022 You all know why... so we won't go into the details, but the MMS Committee have decided that we need to postpone our planned June production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. We are disappointed and sad, but hopeful that we can arrange new dates soon and bring Millie back to life. Sincere thanks to the amazing cast and production team for all of their work so far... we were lucky to have 2 great rehearsals, but tonight had to hand our scores back in We did not get the chance t...o introduce you to our amazingly talented cast, so have tagged them all below. Our love goes out to all of the other shows that have also postponed or cancelled. 01.01.2022 Introducing (or re-introducing) our gorgeous & delightful Choreographer for Mille, Kristy Hooper. Kristy is new to the MMS family and we are thrilled to have her choreographing this incredible show. She has been training to be a performer since starting ballet and tap when she was just 3 years old and is excited to devise a range of fun and exciting new routines with a ’20s flair. Since graduating with a Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2016 she has performed in productions such... as ‘Miss Saigon’ (Packemin Productions), ‘Funny Girl’ (Theatre and Company), ‘Tuck Everlasting’ (MUSE) and the upcoming ‘Priscilla: Queen of the Desert’ with Willoughby Theatre Company.
