25.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who logged a (not) parkrun last week. We had 6 people log runs across a wide range of time (22:08 - 1:00:53) typifying that parkrun is for everyone. Three people logged for the first time, three logged two runs for the week and one of those logged their 53rd (not)parkrun since inception. If you haven’t tried it, why not give it a go (within covid guidelines)?

24.01.2022 Good morning parkrunners. All parkrun events in Australia and New Zealand have been suspended with immediate effect due to the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation. At this stage we have cancelled events up to the end of March. Please follow our communications channels for ongoing updates. parkrun’s global position is published and will be updated here. https://www.parkrun.com/news/2020/03/12/covid-19/

24.01.2022 Mosman parkrun restarted !!! Thanks to the wonderful volunteers and the friendly walkers and runners !

23.01.2022 Good Morning Mosman parkrunners. The latest update from parkrun is now live at http://parkrun.me/covid19. Thanks for your support and patience.

23.01.2022 Happy Friday night Mosman parkrunners. We know that you will all be keen to keep active while we are having this break. Could we please ask though that you don’t turn up at 7am at Spit West to do a Freedom Run? It’s important that parkrun is not seen as going against the government advice about gatherings in public. We hope to see you back enjoying our local parkrun, very soon.

22.01.2022 To everyone who took part yesterday (14 March), there may be a discrepancy in some of the times. It would be helpful if you know your time and/or position if you could post below. No promises any changes will be made but we will do our best. Thanks from the Run Directors

17.01.2022 One of the many volunteering roles at parkrun and one where you can volunteer and run/walk at the same event.

17.01.2022 Seven years ago, we stuck our flags in the sandy ground down at Balmoral to start the very first Mosman parkrun. In that time, we have had 315 events, 4,036 participants complete 15,721 events and 276 individuals volunteer. A few things have changed about our event but one thing that remains the same is our wonderful community. Thank you for supporting us. Permission has been sought to be allowed to start parkrun in NSW again. If you would like to read more, click on this link. https://blog.parkrun.com//parkrun-australia-covid-19-coro/

16.01.2022 Hi all, the photos for Saturday's parkrun have been uploaded. Thanks for walking and running and thanks to the volunteers !

11.01.2022 The results are up. Thank you for joining us today despite the wind. Special thanks to our wonderful volunteers. Stay safe and healthy! And enjoy the rest of your weekend.

10.01.2022 Hi Mosman parkrunners, Our plan is to run tomorrow unless we hear otherwise from parkrun Australia. We ask that you please consider the following: ... 1. If you’re not feeling well, take this week off. Follow health authority directions and we’ll see you again soon! 2. If you're scheduled to volunteer tomorrow and you no longer wish to, we understand! Please send us an email or message. 3. Stay tuned. As always, check our facebook page or the parkrun Australia page/website for any developments. We believe that during challenging times it is more important than ever that communities are able to come together socially and support each other if appropriate and safe. Take care parkrunners, and we look forward to parkrunning with you tomorrow! https://www.parkrun.com/news/2020/03/12/covid-19/

08.01.2022 Edited: As part of the COVID related changes, everyone must check in using a QR code. There will be a few of these around the start area and you can easily check-in using the amazing and free Service NSW app. You can scan this QR code from your PC/laptop screen before coming to parkrun, as well as from the signs on course on the day. If you are having any issues, zoom in on the QR code or wait until Saturday to scan at the event.

07.01.2022 While we are still holding on, waiting for sign off, we would love to share this recent post about parkrun. Maybe it will inspire you to go out and enjoy the local area. https://blog.parkrun.com///11/what-does-parkrun-look-like/

06.01.2022 A blast from the past. Here are the volunteers from 19 October 2013. How many do you recognise?

05.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came along for the restart today and especially our Volunteers. If you would like to volunteer in coming weeks, please respond here or email is at [email protected]

05.01.2022 Hi all, the photos for Saturday's parkrun have been uploaded. Thanks for waling and running and thanks to the volunteers !

03.01.2022 In half an hour we restart Mosman parkrun. Please checkin before arriving or on the QR Codes near the start line.

02.01.2022 Hi all wonderful parkrunners ! We are running at the usual time on Saturday morning. We have one more volunteer role to fill - the first timers briefing. If you have run at Mosman before and loved it, then you can tell our newbies all about it ! See you at 06:50 or so ! Don't forget to bring your barcode and Check-In !

02.01.2022 We are excited to confirm that parkrun events in the Northern Territory will reopen on Saturday 19 September! For updates on the status of the remaining States & Territories within Australia click here http://parkrun.me/veaqw #loveparkrun

02.01.2022 To celebrate our 7th Birthday yesterday, we would love it if you could do a (not)parkrun this week and log it. The rules are simply 5km, wherever, whenever and add it to your profile. If we were to be in the leaderboard for the week, that would be amazing. http://parkrun.com/signin

01.01.2022 With the weather in Sydney about to turn for the worse, why not go out and enjoy a (not)parkrun? It’s 5km wherever and whenever you want. Then log it. You have until Sunday night each week to log it but can run any time/s during the week. https://twitter.com/parkrunau/status/1319230775099858945

01.01.2022 Timekeeping at parkrun is easy! If you want to give it a go, we need a time keeper for this Saturday the 29th. We also need two barcode scanners. Drop us a line if you can help out!

13.12.2021 Thank you to all the volunteers and runners who made today possible. Massive congrats to Alex (the guy on the right and our tail walker today) for completing his 100th event and 50th volunteer position! What a ratio! You are a champion and thank you for being part of our community!

24.11.2021 Who’s excited for Saturday? (Clearly not Matt!) We still need someone to help us with finish tokens. And could use a second scanner. ... Let us know if you can help. Look forward to seeing you all on Sat! D

30.10.2021 Mosman parkrun number 344.

18.10.2021 Hello parkrunners. Results from this morning's run have been uploaded but we are aware of a couple of errors with the time keeping. If your time is incorrect please let us know and we can correct it. Thanks and apologies.

16.10.2021 Good morning fellow parkrunners! We are looking for a generous volunteer to undertake timekeeping this Saturday 15th. It's a super easy and rewarding role, all you need is your smartphone with the parkrun app and a happy smile!
