24.01.2022 Stage One of the Neonatal Nursery redevelopment is now complete. The new Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) is part of the $50 million Sustainment Project at the Women's & Children's Hospital. The new modern unit provides larger spaces with improved patient privacy and infection control while making families feel more comfortable. The SCBU has a number of new facilities which include a new family lounge area, added space at cot side for families and carers and isolation rooms for... individual and twin babies. Additional features include new information panels, dedicated wash-up station for cleaning feeding equipment, new staff call system and the introduction of programmed circadian lighting to promote neuro-development care. Our team have worked closely with the design team to ensure we create a spacious, calming and supportive environment in order for the WCH to continue to deliver the highest quality care for some of their most vulnerable patients. Works are already underway on the next stage of the Neonatal Nursery redevelopment. William King or be...tter known to us as 'Billy' worked with Mossop as an apprentice carpenter and progressed to a Project Manager before he returned to Darwin to pursue his true passion, art and painting. Billy's contemporary artistic style developed from his strong Aboriginal heritage and the love and connection he felt with the land. His paintings were symbolic to living in harmony with natural forces. Sadly Billy passed in 2007 however his extensive collection of artwork is still displayed throughout many galleries in Australia and overseas and is proudly displayed in the foyer of Mossops head office is Hindmarsh. #nrw2020 #inthistogether #williamkingjungala

Hutt St Centres redevelopment project aims to vastly improve the quality of services that the centre can provide. The improvements have been designed to enhance the visual and working amenities of the property and importantly improve the flow of client traffic into the Centre. The upgrade will include improvements to the façade inc...luding a new welcoming foyer area which modernises the centres appearance to Hutt Street. The new two-storey centre features a hydrotherapy pool, gymnasium, treatment room and outdoor therapy rehabilitation area. 04.01.2022 The new multi-stage development of the Memorial Hospital in North Adelaide is now complete. The Main Works Project comprised of six separable portions including refurbishment of existing areas within the hospital. Mossop were engaged by RPS Adelaide on behalf of Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance Inc. to upgrade the existing theatre suite, refurbish 50 ward rooms, and construct a new theatre and paediatric day unit with staff amenities. Working in an operational 24/7, sen...sitive environment, it was essential for the team to work closely with the hospital and maintain continual communication to ensure its existing function was not comprised in any way. A high level of client satisfaction was achieved stemming from the teams willingness to vary construction staging and provide the best outcome for the operational needs of the hospital.
