21.01.2022 Our littlest Dragonflies in Division 3 didn’t place this year, but oh my did they play their little hearts out each and every game!! Their Coach was so proud with how much these girls have developed and progressed through the season. They gave it their all, learned from their mistakes, achieved some major breakthroughs, and came off the court with big smiles after every game and training. Can’t wait to see you back next year girls! ... Keep an eye out for these up and coming superstars!!
20.01.2022 Training Games.... Aren’t they just the best fun?! Our little Div3 (8yo) girls played against the mighty SHNA 12s Rep team this afternoon, and what a game it was!!! ... The younger girls have looked up to the older girls all season and were so excited to play against them - thanks Coach Jane & Coach Katie for organising Div 3, good on you for having the confidence within yourselves to want to play against an older team, and never gave up! Reps, you were fabulous with the younger girls, thanks for being such good role models to our younger divisions. Netball is all about having fun, making friends, supporting each other and learning new skills. These girls did exactly that today. Magic!

14.01.2022 Massive thanks to our Rep Coordinator Renae, who was able to set up two opportunities for our Rep teams to compete in this crazy season. The first was a mini ca...rnival at Eridge Park a few weeks ago and yesterday the girls had a run against Shoalhaven Assoc & Kiama Assoc, thank you for hosting us Kiama Netball Association. 12.01.2022 DRAGONFLIES 2020 Thankyou all so much for your continued support throughout this crazy season. THANKYOU to all the Parents and spectators for your support each and every week, making the time to bring your children to training and games, and helping us navigate all the new rules and restrictions we had to abide by.... THANKYOU to all our Coaches and Managers for volunteering your time each training session and every Saturday to allow our young girls to experience the netball life, make new friendships, learn new skills and the important value of team work, and to make memories!! A MASSIVE THANKYOU to our MVD President, Kate, who dedicates so much of her time to our club, coaches, managers, and most importantly, ALL of our players. Making sure everyone knows exactly what they are doing, making sure we have everything we need, and being the biggest supporter and mentor to all of our coaches - Kate is always there for us with no bother at all.... We are all so lucky to have you! And most of all, THANKYOU to all our fabulous players that returned for this shorter season. You all show up to every training and game without hesitation, you take the court with love, dedication, and pride for your team and club. You do us proud every week! We have all loved seeing how much each player has grown and developed over the seasons and we are hoping for a bigger and better season next year (and with hopefully less restrictions!) Enjoy your much deserved break, keep practising your skills and shooting, and we’ll see you all back next year!!!
11.01.2022 Our beautiful, strong and courageous Division 1 team had a very hard season playing against girls much older and stronger, but like all our teams their improvement throughout the year was amazing!!! And they ended the season with a well deserved win yesterday!! Love their smiles Well done Superstars!!

10.01.2022 Another awesome weekend of netball has passed by, and now we’re down to only two weeks left Have to give a HUGE shoutout to these Juniors.... They have had a tough season, but have always stepped up and taken the court and played with all their mightiness. ... Yesterday, they were down a player and were very anxious about playing. Their coach and parents gave them all the encouragement they needed and they absolutely played their little hearts out - resulting in a very well deserved WIN!!!! It may have been the bribery of birthday cupcakes at the end of the game, who knows Moral of the story - don’t ever underestimate yourself, or the power of working together as a TEAM, you are capable of more than you know
09.01.2022 Sunshine, accompanied by an icy cold Minus -5 along with our famous Southern Highlands winds and throw in a special appearance of sleet/snow made for an eventful day of netball!!! Well done to all our Dragonflies who braved today’s crazy weather conditions - we are so proud of you for showing up, adapting to the conditions, being brave and strong, and supporting your teams!! Great job to everyone involved today! ...

08.01.2022 Big shout out to Miss Indi Burgess Indi is a valued member of our MVD family who was awarded the SHNA Junior Umpire Award which is an encouragement award kindly donated by Sharon and Charmaine Eddy. Indi was a great support to all the young umpires, helping at courts and happy to... umpire wherever and whenever needed. Her growth throughout the short season has been fantastic - Well Done Indi!!

This is why we have to put such measures in place at Southern Highlands Netball Association Please be mindful, and don’t become complacent - remember: always sign in and register for each visit you have to our courts (training & game days), you never know when we may need to rely on the details... keep spectators to a minimum of 1x person per player keep your distance sanitise please do not attend if you are feeling unwell or have been to a known hotspot! We need to keep our little community safe
