I aim to showcase jewellery that respects and honours the stories that come from Australia’s custodians of this beautiful land. This beautiful necklace was made using a wooden pendant setting with a glass cabochon. It is complimented with an adjustable necklace. The Australian outback is so vast and has a very harsh climate with extreme temperatures and almost no rainfall. Occasionally, when it rains, this deserted land breaks into bloom and showcases beautiful flowers. This stunning wildflower represents the beauty of that season. This necklace represents a particular part of the Dream-Time story. It is packaged with its story attached and would make a lovely gift.

I have created a line of jewellery that honour the stories that come from Australia’s custodians of this beautiful land. These earrings are set with a glass cabochon inside a stainless steel pendant setting It is completed using stainless steel hooks. Each earring measure across at 25mm.... This stunning artwork by Aboriginal artist Janet Long shows the importance of fire in Aboriginal culture. The Firedreaming Ceremony is part of the 6 seasonal cycles on the Aboriginal calendar. This ceremony is part of the Tingar cycle. It takes place the night before the fires are lit and carries on throughout the night. This ceremony establishes the right relationship and the balance between the people and the land on which they depend. The timing of the lit fires is very important. Usually fire was used at the end of the wet season while the grasses and soil were still damp. The fires were lit to drive out animals that the Aboriginal people could then hunt. Fire is also essential for regeneration of many Australian plants that have hard seed pods that require burning before the pods can open to release the seeds. This guaranteed food and medicine for future generations. These earrings represent a particular part of the Dream-Time story. They are packaged with their story attached and would make a lovely gift.
