24.01.2022 Hello community, I hope you and your families are safe and well during those testing times. Some of you may know me from when I lived down here and through my p...arents Drs Ulhas and Geeta Lad. I have made it safely back to my Tassie homelands & currently in isolation staying on a dear friend’s farm near Cygnet. I’m working hard remotely along with my amazing superstar big brother Anoop in Sydney, to help protect my elderly full-time working GP parents Drs Geeta and Ulhas Lad. We are doing everything we can with the help of their amazing staff, to help prepare their busy GP practice for the COVID-19 crisis ahead. I ardently request our Indian and local patients/friends here in Hobart PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT MY PARENTS on their mobiles unless urgent and please do not visit them at the house (personal social calls after hours are fine if you’re a close friend of course) As I’m sure you can understand, they are under enormous pressure and we all want to keep them protected in physical isolation and in the best health possible so they may still be able to do what they love, serving the community from teleconsult. 22.01.2022 Dear customers, We firstly want to thank everyone that has supported us in the last couple of weeks whether that be through take-way,delivers or Uber eats. Your support has meant alot to us through these hard times. But we are happy to announce that Mother India is reopening for dine as of this monday. But reopening does come with restrictions in which only 10 customers are allowed to dine in at one time so we really recommend that if you wish to dine in that you book ahead o...f time. So you are certain to have a table but we want to advise that we most likely will not take bookings for over 5 people at one time as this will not leave the opportunity. For other customers to come and dine in but anything under 5 is perfectly fine and lastly we also want to ask that people do not stay on longer than 2 and half hours when dining in. As we want to give everyone the chance to come and dine in at Mother India, we want to thank everyone in advance for understanding and complaining with the rules and restrictions at the moment.
