25.01.2022 Something a little bit different today. I just wanted to share with you where we buy some of the clothing for our own child. These 3 winter jackets were purchased from the Treasure Boxes Boutique where 100% of the profits go direct to the charity. I picked up these jackets plus a few other items for less than $50 and they are all brand name and EXCELLENT quality. They have quite a few hidden gems and lots of rare finds plus affordable basics, sleepwear, blankets etc. If you have never heard of Treasure Boxes check them out. 19.01.2022 Hello lovely people. We have been a bit quiet over the last few weeks. The nature of this business makes it hard to continue with online presence only and as the business is still in such early stages the best thing to do is place it on hold until this is all over. We can’t wait to showcase our products at markets and events. When Prelove reopens we will have a range there too. Until then we will still post every now and then but mostly we will be doing bits and pieces in the back end and spending quality time with our families, savouring every moment. We will be back ready to share our passion with the community.

16.01.2022 Keep those clothes looking good so that you can use them for the next baby, give them to a friend, donate to charity or sell them to make some extra money. Lots of great tips out there but here are my simple top 5 1. Wash gently - depending on the load I also place items with zippers in a wash bag to save them from damaging other items in the mix 2. Only wash if you must - If it’s a small mark on an otherwise clean item try using a wet cloth/wet wipe to remove it ... 3. Separate colours - Always 4. Dry in shade - I love the sun bit it will fade your items over time 5. Remove Stains - It’s too easy to chuck things into the laundry room, get busy and forget about them when you have a baby and/or a toddler but if you leave the stains they will be harder to get out so getting them into a tub of solution or spraying them ASAP is an important step in caring for your clothing

16.01.2022 Kitchen rags may not be pretty but let me tell you, this has been one of my favourite switches. The smell of most washing liquids was overpowering for me and I always found sponges to be unhygienic, not to mention I’d go through 60 plus per year just for them to sit in landfill for hundreds of years until they eventually turn into microplastics We now use old rags and a dish block made by @soapmaid and purchased from my local eco stockist @_soul_eco_ for most dishes. I use the scrubbing brush when needed and the homemade kitchen paste for the stove stop and sink area. I love the natural smell of both of these products, they clean better that the previous and it feels so good to know I am no longer adding to the pile of sponges. #ecofriendly #zerowaste #nontoxic #kitchen

Do you love bargains? If you said yes to any of these you should definitely head to the store Saturday the 1st of May. We are lucky enough to have one of my favourites suppliers of second hand clothing here setting up her own rack for the day. Trust me, her daughter has a wardrobe full of the best and... the cutest Some of my favourites items came from her and they usually sell the day I hang them. PLUS We will have a few ‘ONE DAY ONLY’ sales May 1st

05.01.2022 I had hoped to do this with a friend to witness and another to draw the name but instead we did it with a super professional box and paper system and my husbands hairy arm. 04.01.2022 On Saturday the 22nd of May we have a very special teddy bears picnic to attend. The shop will be closed for the day I’m so sorry to anyone that was going to attend that day. We will be open on the Friday as usual.
