08.01.2022 D I Y R E C I P E S I love to DIY. On the weekend, I thought I would have a go at making my own Dishwasher Tablets and Rinse Aid and they turned out great! Going tox free has certainly been a journey and admittedly, dishwashing tablets are something that I should’ve swapped out a long time ago. Now I am kicking myself at just how easy these were to make! DISHWASHER TABLET RECIPE... 1/2 Washing Soda 1/4 cup Bi-carb Soda 1/4 cup salt 75g Citric Acid 1 Tbsp Castile Soap 1/2 - 1 cup White Vinegar 20-30 drops of Essential Oil (I used Young Living Citrus Fresh blend) Add all ingredients to a glass bowl except the vinegar and stir until combined. Then slowly add in the vinegar. The mixture will fizz up but the consistency you want is a super thick paste. Pack mixture into an ice cube tray and allow to dry. Boom! Sahhhh easy! Rinse Aid 1/2 Vodka 1 Cup white Vinegar 3 capfuls of Young Living Thieves Household Cleaner 1 Drop of Young Living Thieves liquid Dish Soap 1/4 tsp Citric Acid 15 Drops of YL Lemon EO 15 Drops of YL Tea Tree EO 5 Drops of YL Rosemary EO Add all ingredients in a glass jar or bottle and shake. Da dahhh! See! Easy! 04.01.2022 F A C E M A S K R E C I P E I love a good face mask! I love this particular one as is it is great for acne prone skin which is something that I suffer from (food allergies). You can also make this up and any left overs keep in the fridge in an airtight container. I tend to use it 1 - 2 times a week. ... R E C I P E 1 tsp of Organic Bentonite Clay 1/2 tsp of Activated Charcoal 1 - 2 tsp of Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar 1 - 4 drops of your favourite oils (I used Myrrh, Frankincense, Helichrysum and Rose) Mix together in a small glass or ceramic bowl (no metal!) and add ACV until you get a paste consistency. Apply to face and leave for 5 - 10 minutes for sensitive skin or up to 15 minutes for normal skin. Wash off gently with warm water and apply your favourite moisturiser after 30 mins.
